MALLORCAN STYLE HOUSE: GARDEN, LARGE TERRACES AND DIRECT BEACH ACCESS.

Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday home in Pine Walk - 'Ca's Senyors'

In the prestigious 'Pine Walk', Bay of Pollensa, accommodating 6 people.

The house,''CA'S SENYORS' is on the main floor of a traditional Mallorcan Villa, Villa 'ES MOLLET', (see photo gallery).

The Villa is a wonderful architectural gem that still maintains the authentic style of the classic elegance of yesteryear. It has private access through the entrance in front of the sea, making it independent of the two houses located on the first floor (see photo gallery).

Located in the heart of the 'Pine Walk', in the quiet bay of Puerto Pollensa, is a place where you can experience the sensation of beauty that have inspired many artists and writers who have come and continue to come here.

In the village, the sky and the sea at daybreak are a gentle touch, ... at sunset, a symphony of colors and ... at night, sitting on the terrace, with the moon reflected in the sea, you realize that it is not only one of the most beautiful places in Mallorca but, possibly, in the world.

You will rest just 10 meters from the shore of a beach of fine sand and shallow waters, located on the most peaceful area of the bay.

Behind the Villa are the roads that cross the 'Vall de Bóquer', which may lead you by walking to 'Cala Bóquer', a cove of transparent turquoise waters. Very close, is the 'Cala San Vicente', another tourist area with two small beaches that are the locals' favourite because of the color of its waters and the rocks from which to launch the sea.

Formentor ..., is a place not to be missed, many artists have painted it or write about it because of her beauty. In 'Hotel Formentor' have stayed known personalities from the artistic, cultural, political world, etc... who have enjoyed their spectacular beach and the color of the mountains.

The location of this property offers the perfect vacation: the peace of mind in your home and immediate environment and the convenience of access by foot or by bicycle to all services. Any activity you want to do is within reach in a few minutes. The small town of Puerto de Pollensa offers restaurants, shops, local flea market, sailing, skiing ...

Puerto de Pollensa is sea, beach, but also mountains and nature and endless places to lose yourself and enjoy beautiful views and walking trails.

Distribution within 'CA'S SENYORS': The lounge consists of 2 rooms: one, equipped with comfortable furniture, fireplace and television, is perfect as a reading room and rest, the other attached to the front and with direct access to porch and garden terrace, where you can enjoy spectacular views over the bay. - The living room, furnished with refined Majorcan style, can accommodate 10 people, also has direct access to the veranda and garden terrace. - The aforementioned porch-terrace (see photo gallery), is properly equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture for up to 12 people. - Surrounding the courtyard garden, there is a distribution corridor that leads to the three bedrooms, two bathrooms and kitchen.

Puerto Pollensa is a town on the island of Mallorca with one of the richest histories in the Mediterranean Sea events. For its harbour passed Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Arabs, Romans, ...

The area has natural attractions and countless practicing activities such as cycling, skiing, horse riding, hiking, diving, canoeing, swimming, golf, bird watching, etc..

Restaurants, bars, pubs and cafes: Restaurants and bars of Puerto Pollensa are really important, both in quality and quantity, many with outdoor terraces, allowing consumers to enjoy the scenery and sea breeze.

About 5 miles from the town, is the town of Pollensa (formerly Pollentia) with cobblestone streets and a high artistic and cultural interest: The main square, with stunning historic buildings, restaurants, terraces, art galleries, shops, the Cloister Santo Domingo, where each year marks the International Music Festival of Pollensa, the Steps up to Calvary, the view from the Shrine of the Puig de Maria and the colorful Sunday market of flowers, vegetables, fruits, handicrafts and other local products.

Pollensa was the cradle of the school of painters known as 'schooling Pollensina', created, among others, by Anglada Camarasa, Tito Cittadini and Dionis Bennassar, whose Museum you can visit.

On a road with stunning panoramic views you get to the Formentor beach with crystal clear waters and pine trees bordering the sea, magical place where it is located, since 1929, the Hotel Formentor. Their rooms have hosted personalities such as Sir Winston Churchill, Agatha Christie, the Dalai Lama, Charles Chaplin, Audrey Hepburn, Gary Cooper, Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco, Peter Ustinov, Bobby Charlton, Julio Iglesias, Placido Domingo, Octavio Paz , Mario Vargas Llosa, ...... and finally, in the summer of 2012 visited the area the British Premier David Cameron.

Bordering the Bay of Pollensa, about 5 kilometers from the Villa, you get to Alcudia, walled city also with cobblestone streets, around which are located the 'Pollentia Roman Ruins' and the Museum 'Sa Bassa Blanca', 'Foundation Yannick and Ben Jakober' , which houses an impressive collection of 'Portraits of Children' (sixteenth to nineteenth centuries) and contemporary art.

The 'Albufera Natural Park', on the road from Alcudia to Can Picafort, provides an environment of 1708 hectares of marshes and dunes with rich biological (vegetation, fish, invertebrates and birds). The birdwatchers will spend there unforgettable moments.

For golf lovers, and 10 kilometers from the town, is the 'Golf Pollensa', 9 holes, with a nice restaurant and spectacular views of the bays of Pollensa and Alcudia. In Alcanada (8 kilometers) is located the 'Club de Golf Alcanada', 18 holes, designed by Robert Trent Jr. A privilege to play here golf with its magnificent sea views!!.

For lovers of hiking, mountaineering and climbing, the varied landscape, near the Villa, allows endless possibilities.

Cycling enthusiasts can easily rent touring bikes, road or mountain, and move through the cycle routes.

And in the Marina of Puerto Pollensa, 'La Marina' you can rent a boat to see one of the secluded coves (calas) and beaches near the Villa: 'Cala En Gossalba', 'Cala Murta', 'Es Calo', 'Cala Feliu', 'Formentor', 'Albercutx', etc.

All these coves and beaches are the best to become involved in peace and quietness. Many of them also accessible by canoe or by foot.

Special mention deserves the Serra de Tramuntana, declared by UNESCO 'World Heritage'. On it, in the town of Pollensa, lies the medieval fortress 'Castell del Rei'. This, and the 'Castell d'Alaró' are the only two copies of rocky castles. They are part of a complex signal and communication system that was used to warn of the presence of enemy ships or to defend against attackers once they had landed. You can not miss the 'Formentor Lighthouse' because, by its strategic location, offers stunning views over the sea and the mountains.

The Mallorcan headlights are buildings with a tower, located at the edges or prominent coastal locations or on reef platforms. Its situation corresponds in fact to strategic points on the coast, so the lantern light flashes long range visible to all boaters from distance.

In short, 'CA'S SENYORS' is a place to visit again, and .... never forget!.

If this is your first time here ... it will not be the last in Puerto Pollensa, as its bay is magical, and ... attracts!
