A 3 and 4 bedroom property with its own beautiful grounds in the heart of Derbys

Amber Mill farm holiday Village is part of an ongoing project to bring you ten unique farm properties sleeping upto 70 people within 3 acres of beautiful farmland running alongside the River Amber in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside.

The grounds consist of a large Orchard of fruit trees and farm animals including sheep, Chickens, Guinea Fowl, Love Birds, Geese, Peacocks, Ducks, Quail and Bantoms, STOP PRESS! Arriving shortly we also have a clan of MEERKATS. Large grassed and paved dining areas complete with BBQ's and children’s play areas are available for your relaxation, within the grounds there is plentiful parking.

Amber Lodge is a fully modernized 1950 period building sitting in grounds of approximately 1 acre, comprising of a large car park, beautiful garden and paddock. The property has been recently modernized to a very high standard which includes a large modern kitchen diner with granite worktop and fully integrated appliances including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and range cooker, 3 bedrooms 2 en-suite bathrooms and a large lounge which is equipped with a 42' wall mounted tv with sky and a bed settee making comfortable accommodation for up to 10 people. The Lodge also has free wireless internet, outside furniture, a BBQ for alfresco dining and a large HOT TUB for relaxing under the stars. The grounds of the lodge are available for the use of our guests, along with the orchard, home of the farms pea fowl, chickens, Geese, duck, peacocks and sheep roam the grounds making the ideal rural setting. STOP PRESS! We also have a Clan of MEERKATS.

Lovely clean well equipped spacious bungalow.

Would recommend staying at Amber Lodge - it was clean and well equipped and like a tardis - bigger than it looked. It was in a lovely setting and ideally located for visiting family in the Mansfield and Chesterfield areas. Vic was welcoming and friendly. Only down side was that we lost more TV channels as the holiiday progressed and weather worsened. Again Vic helpful in trying to put it right. Would definitely stay again.

Brilliant place, we will return!

Fully equipped with everything we could need. Clean, tidy, modern and in a good location. We stayed 3 nights as three couples and a toddler and there was plenty to keep him occupied whether it be the play area or the farm animals.

Fresh eggs were left for us by Victor too!

We'd definitely return and would would recommend to others.

Great cottage in a nice location.

We stayed at the amber lodge for a short 3 day break in early August. Cottage was in excellent condition with all amenities. Owner Vic was very flexible accommodating our needs. Location is perfect for easy hiking and biking in outstanding peak district trails. Some of the local pubs within few minutes drive are great. Excellent outdoor patio for dining with farm animals. Excellent value for money. Would definitely like to visit when we're back in the UK again.

Second visit really is a home from home

This was our second visit and was just as great as the first. Vic very helpful and accommodating. Great location for visiting the Peak District. Best fish and chip shop ever located a mile away in Wessington ... Don't miss it! Will definitely be back.
