This detached villa is situated within a complex which is landscaped with coconut trees and various exotic palms and has a large open grassed area. If you explore along the South Goa coastline with its stunning white sands and blue seas and you can find many empty peaceful coves for that true 'Touch of Paradise'. For the more daring there are various types of water sports along the beaches including paragliding, jet-skiing, and boat trips to see the dolphins close up in their natural habitat. Dolphin-watching is extremely popular and a great way to experience them is on an early-morning cruise along the River Sal.
You can plan a trip to the Spice Farm and watch or help to bathe the elephants, or travel through the National Park to Dudhsagar Waterfalls and swim in the fresh water lake at the bottom of the falls whilst the fish nibble at your toes and then feed the monkeys who are always hungry! For a more relaxed day out take a trip on of the boat cruises up the river and enjoy a freshly cooked lunch of Garlic Butter Prawns for starters, Kingfish with vegetable rice and mixed salad for the main course and a delicious fruit salad for desert all prepared by the very helpful crew. Also included in the price on these trips is all the drink you want, be it alcohol or soft drinks !
For those who like to party, take a trip to North Goa which is only about an hour and fifteen minutes away by taxi. Here you will find a livlier atmosphere with bars and restaurants offering musical entertainment and plenty of shopping. Alternatively, you can visit Anjuna Flea Market, which is held every Wednesday. Haggle with the stall owners to get yourself a bargain and then dance the evening away or just sit and listen to the one of the live bands playing at one of the cafes whilst the sun goes down.
Varca is about an hour's drive from Panjim, the capital of Goa. Panjim is a bustling, thriving city with shopping malls and restaurants and in the evening you can try your luck on one of the casino boats moored on the river or take a trip up the river on one of the cruise boats whilst being entertained with some Goan music and dancing.
If you like the more historical aspect of Goa then a trip to Old Goa is a must, where you can visit the old temples and churches and discover some fascinating facts about the history of Goa.
