)ur stay at the Casa Rural La Corujera
We loved this historic casa and had a great holiday here. It was very well equipped, clean, cosy and peaceful. Its position was special and was a beautiful retreat from the potentially crowded island of Tenerife. The views from the garden were stunning, with La Palma being visible off to the north west. The casa is well positioned centrally for walkers wanting to explore the far eastern and western ends of Tenerife (recommended) and don't want to have to contend with the holiday resorts down south. Estefan is most friendly and helpful and, unasked, often supplied us with vegetables from the garden. Knowing we would arrive late, there was even a carafe of wine and some provisions waiting for us when we arrived. He's a good bloke.
We found some excellent walking and decent rock climbing and it was great to come 'home' and relax outside the casa and watch the sun go down. We honestly can't think of anything negative to say about this place and would truly recommend a holiday here.
