'Platges de Muro' is a very long sandy area and like the rest of the beaches in the municipality of Muro, the water is transparent and the swell is moderate or quiet, the sand is fine-grained and golden, ideal for families with children or for relaxing with friends. The vegetation is marked by pine wood and bushes, a natural boundary between the sandy beach and the dunes, where you can go for a nice walk. The seaports Puerto the Alcúdia and Puerto de Pollença offer a lot of restaurants and bars, where you can finish your day relaxing with a lovely view over the port and the sea.
Around your villa you'll find a lots of paths and tracks for hiking and cycling. For all the sports-lovers of you, the north offers a wide range of lovely routes nearby the sea and others who goes up country. From your villa in Muro you can easily get there. The mountain chain Serra de Tramuntana has a lot of posibilities to uncover the adventurer in you. If you like to stay outside, inhaling the fresh air of the mountains, the Serra de Tramuntana is the right place for you. Hiking, cyclling, mountain biking, climbing - there are no limits for sports lovers, every day of the year. You'll also enjoy fantastic views over the north coast bay and you have the possibility to visit the monastery in Lluc, which is located in the northwest of the island.
The national park of s'Albufera, located less than 10 minutes by car from your villa, contains a huge variety of birds and nice paths to go for a walk. The most northerly point of the island is called Cap Formentor, a precious and spectacular cliff, formed by the wind and the sea.
