Luxurious, spacious Duplex, in excellent condition in prime gated complex, Beautiful views from balcony offer perfect spot for family; (child gates top and bottom of stairs) honeymoon and golf. Enclosed kitchen, extensively stocked, connects by sliding hatch windows to tastefully furnished lounge. Master bedroom has built-in wooden furniture. Main bathroom has bath, shower over bath & walk-in shower. Below bedroom 2 has twin beds, en suite bathroom and washing machine. Patio furniture is on both floors. Fantastic pool and restaurant close by. Medical Centre, coffee shop and high class restaurant all within 50metres. There is FibreOptic WIFi available in all rooms. 50inch TV in lounge receives an extensive number of channels. There is a second TV for Netflix and Play Station 4 plus DVD,

The appartement is next to the swimming pool, heated November to March ant it is also very handy for the popular Palms restaurant/bar.

It is 100m to the bus stop for Los Christianos, El Medano and Las Chafiras. 15min. by car to Siam Park, 6k to Tenerife South Airport. Handy to many amenities, San Blas Center, and motorway. Marina has submarine rides.,Good walk from marina round the coastline to Los Abrigos., a beautiful walk.


Things that make the difference. For those staying for 2 weeks or more there will be a change of linen and a short clean. This house has been refurbished to serve as a second home for the owners and consequently is of the standard of a home from home. Our place will appeal to clients wishing to have a property that genuinely meets the description. The kitchen is very well stocked both with equipment and with food.There is a large supply of glasses and dishes and further crockery can be found in the lounge cabinet.

All white goods are of a high standard and the washing machine very efficient. With the bright sunshine clothes can be washed and dried in the day reducing luggage weight. The patio table seats 6 and has a large parasole. There are two sun loungers, 4 chairs and a low table. Balcony furniture of table, parasole, and 4 chairs.

Around The Palms: Over the past two years the site has improved enormously with all the gardens well maintained and the walls and rails all freshly painted. The site is long with 96 single story houses and 124 duplexes. There are 4 pools two at the top, one in the middle and the other down the other end. A further pool has been reconstructed as a cactus garden. It is very pleasant to walk around the site. The restaurant is very popular and offers all day breakfast, baguettes at lunch as well as full lunch menu and evening menu plus take aways. There is varied entertainment every night with quizzes, karaoke and good singers. There is now a resident danish baker and coffee shop selling fresh bread every day, sandwiches and a variety of cakes and pastries. The big building at the top is opening as a medical centre in March and is looking very smart with its stone walls, white paint and palm trees. Our house is opposite a stocked supermarket at Las Adelfas II.

Out and About: The Palms is a place for a quite relaxing holiday and that is enough for many people. If you require a nice stroll then it is a pleasant walk down to the Marina where there are some very classy boats. You can also catch the bus just opposite the medical centre and link up with a bus to anywhere in Tenerife. You can walk coastal paths either right from the marina to Costa del Silencio or walk to San Blas, carry on to Los Abrigos and carry on along the coast to El Medano, about 10k. You can catch a bus there and walk back or vice versa. Whatever, you can do as much or as little as you like.

We were a group of 5 adults over 50 The property and the situation was ideal for us. We hired a car which gave us extra freedom to go where we pleased as we were not all up to walking. The club was right next to us but we were not disturbed at all. The apartment is under the flight path but we got used to the planes passing overhead. Again no problem. We would have no hesitation in booking this property again.

102 The Palms
The stay was good and property on the Palms is where we wanted to be as we have visited there many times. Whole thing somewhat soured when, after we had returned home, we received a mail from the owner accusing us of accessing a personal cupboard. The cupboard in question was left in locked and accessible in the main bathroom and it contained amongst other things prescription meds which would have been potentially very dangerous if found by a child.

What a disappointment!
We have just spent 2 weeks at this property. Whilst everything was scrupulously clean and the duplex was indeed spacious, it was in parts tired and shabby (e.g. upstairs bathroom, upstairs patio furniture) and we certainly wouldn’t agree that it was ‘luxurious’ or ‘recently fully renovated’. It is obvious that the ‘description’ was written some time ago and does not reflect the property’s current condition. It needs updating. In addition the ‘information folders’ inside the property are similarly years out of date. Having said all this it was OK and we were comfortable there. One thing that is not mentioned in the property description is that it is DIRECTLY under the flight path for the airport. So every few minutes throughout the whole day planes are flying extremely low overhead and the noise is deafening - we were not able to hold a conversation or listen to the television until they had passed over. As a consequence this was not the quiet, peaceful holiday that we had hoped for. More seriously was the fact that on arrival we were unable to gain access to the property. The keys were meant to be in the key safe but they were not. It was empty. We had been given 3 local phone numbers to ring if we had problems. Two were unobtainable and the third was not answered. The owner (in the UK) was unobtainable too. So we were stuck outside (in the early evening) with nowhere to go for well over an hour trying to resolve the situation. VRBO were excellent and after encountering the same problems as us, in that they couldn’t contact anyone either, they were in the process of booking us into a hotel. A neighbour overheard us, came out of his house and took us to the on-site restaurant to see if they knew anyone who could help. Fortunately they knew who the cleaner was, they contacted her and she immediately came and let us in. We were then told that it was the owner herself who had left the property earlier that day and it was she who had omitted to put the keys in the key safe for us, The owner needs to ensure that the property description is accurate and that all contact details she gives guests are up to date, correct and actually work when problems arise. It was an extremely stressful start to our holiday.

My husband and I have always loved The Palms, first staying there in 1995. We purchased the duplex when it came up for sale and completely gutted most of it. I have been letting since December 2007 and have many, many returning clients. I like to think it is home from home. My husband died in 2016, but I have continued to let the property since. I think The Palms is a particularly beautiful complex with its gardens and pools. It is now very well maintained and cared for.

Why they chose this property

This property has the unique position of being beside the main pool, but is set back with one other Duplex. It is separated from the Restaurant by the garden, which gives lovely colour at various times of the year and an extra degree of security. It is a prime position at The Palms and the views from the balcony are lovely. Tenerife as a whole with its black sand little coves and big mountain reminds me of my childhood home, town New Plymouth, New Zealand.

What makes this property unique

We saw that the house had a lot of potential and spent a lot of money enclosing the kitchen and completely gutting the bathroom to completely rebuild both. We also put an aluminium reflecting glass skylight over the stairs rather than the corrugated plastic that is found on other duplexes. Where the old shower was was also enclosed with an aluminium and glass round window. We believe that these extra touches make the property more comfortable in every way.
