Just off the famous Portobello Rd and situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Notting Hill, this bright flat in a 19th Century mansion block is a perfect location from which to explore London. Its leafy, gated garden provides a pleasant and secure setting for your stay in London. A ten minute tube journey from Notting Hill tube will take you to the heart of the city with art galleries, West End theatres and the River Thames. You are just 5 minutes from Paddington Station and the express train from there to Heathrow Airport.

There are 3 cinemas close by including the famous Electric Cinema, many great bars, cafés and restaurants. The famous Michelin starred ' Ledbury' with its fabulous set lunch is just a block away. There are excellent clothes shops in Westbourne Grove (2 mins walk), one fascinating mile of antique shops on your doorstep, and delicious patisseries and deli such as Ottolengi (3 mins). Just along the road are the famous music shops of Honest John's Records and Rough Trade. In addition, the elegant tree-lined residential architecture of Notting Hill makes this a very pleasant area to see on foot, as you walk towards Hyde park or Holland Park, or down Kensington High Street. Knightsbridge and Harrods are just a short bus-ride away, as are the V & A and the Science and Natural History Museums

This is a fascinating and vibrant neighbourhood. There is a great sense of community and there are many families with young children around. The owner has run a music business in the area since 1974. He knows Notting Hill and its people well and will be happy to give you more information on where to go and what to see.

Our three week stay at Pinehurst Court surpassed all expectations. It really did begin to feel like home. The flat has many positive features but its large windows and high ceilings create a spacious and elegant space. It is well equipped with all the amenities and we found it very comfortable for sleeping, reading , cooking and dining. The owners have a wonderful bookshelf full of useful guide books and maps as well as a wonderful library of literature. If you like Jazz there is a delightful CD collection to enjoy.The Notting Hill location speaks for itself. We never tired of exploring the area which is full of shops, markets, curios , theatre and film houses. It was our home sweet home and look forward to a return visit.

Clean, bright apartment in fantastic location

The apartment is spotlessly clean, bright and airy and in a fabulous location. Portobello Rd is just around the corner, as are some great bus connections to the Kensington museums and Oxford Street shopping. The kitchen is well equiped and the heating system has easy to adjust settings so that you can be cozy or cool quickly. John and Max were very helpful and easy to deal with and I was able to pay by credit card, which I appreciated. I have no hesitations in recommending this apartment and I would definitely stay here again.

Magic stay!

We've had a totally magic week at Pinehurst Court. The flat was exactly as described. Clean, bright, cosy, well equipped, not to small. Having breakfast at sunrise with all that garden view is something amazing. Garden is magnificent. Comfortable and large bad. Neighborhood feels safe and quiet. Portobello road market is only two blocks away. There is a good choice of deferent tube stations around, all are almost the same distance away. You can choose the line that suits you the best to quickly get to different attractions with as few connections as possible so it's a nice starting point when exploring London. If you are a smoker it's quick and easy to go smoking outside, you don't have to take stairs or elevator. If you are quick there is a free overnight parking just at the front gate. Despite the fact there was no internet provided there was a plenty BT, FON and some other wifi hotspots with good and strong signal everywhere in the flat. Go with your credit card and you'll be online in two minutes (with BT it costs 15 pounds for five days unlimited access, speed is good).
John, Karen and Bella are wonderful, hospitable people. Very easy to deal with. Picking up and dropping of the keys is very easy. Deposit was returned in no time.
Thank you again, everything was superb. You've made our trip.

Will definitely stay there on our next visit to London.

The perfect flat for an affordable London visit.

When you choose to stay at Pinehurst Court you will not be disappointed as it is exactly as advertised and pictured. The flat is clean, modern and well equipped with an up to date heating system that kept us comfortable on cooler days. Situated well back off a quiet street with gardens in front we were never bothered by outside noise and felt totally safe and secure. The building itself is a stylish classic and the high ceilings and tall windows really add to the brightness and openess of the flat. We are partial to the Notting Hill area and all it has to offer not the least of which are excellent transportation options with bus stops nearby and 2 tube stations only a 10 minute walk away. The owner John is very easy to deal with and returned my security deposit immediately. It was also a comfort that his daughter Bella lives only minutes away and is available if needed. If you want to visit London without blowing up the bank account, this flat is an excellent choice. I have already passed the Homeaway link on to friends and will certainly be staying here when next in London.

Comfortable stay in the heart of Notting Hill

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at Pinehurst Court. The flat is in a great position, just a couple of mins from Portobello Market, but is v quiet because of the private gardens that surround it. The flat is small but comfortable, clean and stylishly furnished. Especially liked view of gardens. also good value for the area. Recommended.
