House, 4 Bedrooms + Office, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Perfect for family or group vacations. Experience the incredible beauty of the north shore from our 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2100 s.f. beach home. Upstairs wrap around glass overlooks the uncrowded beach just 120 steps away. Directly behind is lush jungle hillside, the border to 1000's of acres of private nature conservancy land. All tucked into an secluded, kamani tree lined cul de sac between the Wainiha and Haena neighborhoods.

Our Home uniquely blends the “Old Hawaii” flavor with all the up to date amenities and comforts. The great room and large lanai have 270 degree panoramic natural views. The gourmet equipped kitchen has everything a discerning chef will need. Each room has lovely, stylish island decor. Upstairs is an airy king Bedroom with bath, and a small separate office. Downstairs are 2 queen bedrooms and the master suite, with 4 poster hand carved teak bed, his/her walk in closets, whirlpool tub, and private lanais. There is a separate laundry area and beach gear is provided.

We are located in the heart of the most beautiful 10 miles of the island, close to Tunnels Beach, and set between 2 of the top 5 rated beaches on the islands. You can walk the beach the entire final 2 miles to Ke’e, where the road ends and the famous Napali coast begins. Or you can stroll the beach just 300 yards to the Hanalei Colony Resort, for the only (award winning) restaurant and coffee house on this part of the island. Or just take our beach chairs and head the few steps to the beach out front!

We are an approved Kauai Vacation Rental TVNC #1051.

fantastic, comfortable, beautiful

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic, comfortable and beautiful says it all. There are not enough adjectives to describe this lovely property. It's proximity to the beach and the Na Pali coast make it extremely desireable. We stayed at Poipu last year and it's over an hour to get to Na Pali. Even though the surf was high during out stay, we had several close beaches to chose from including the beach directly across the street. That's where we had our morning coffee. The lanai is lovely and comfortable, the kitchen is amazing and spacious. Ample seating for several people. The outside shower was a particular pleasure, especially after muddy hiking. The jetted tub soothed our tired muscles and the comfortable beds were a welcome end to each great day. We appreciated the blender, the great cookware, and generous counter space. The washer and dryer were great to have. It was secluded and quiet but yet with easy access to the Hanalei area and the Na Pali coast. The neighbors were quiet and hardly visible behind the foliage. This house comfortably sleeps 8--no fold away couches here! We had plenty of area to lay our our luggage out and move around. Very awesome! The view of the beach was terrific, yet the location was quiet and the beach had few people on it. Great for privacy and quiet relaxation. Internet and television worked great.

Perfect House for Family or Extended Family

  • 5 of 5

I just cannot say enough about how great our experience was in this house. I invited four friends to travel with me to Kauai for my 50th birthday "Hawaii-Five-O" celebration. I spent hours scouring Homeaway and VRBO for just the perfect place. We only needed 3 bedrooms, so I was only looking at 3 bedroom properties. One night I decided to expand the search to include a 4th bedroom and boy am I glad I did. Hale Aloha came up and I knew it was just the place for us. I wanted a place near the end of the road on the North Shore of Kauai. Hale Aloha was at the right spot. I wanted a place with an ocean view. Hale Aloha has that and a mostly private beach at that! I wanted a chef's kitchen. Check. I wanted an ocean view lanai to have our meals on. Hale Aloha has it. I wanted King and Queen beds in all rooms. You guessed it. No twin beds in this house. You get the picture. I found just the right house in Hale Aloha.

Beverly was great in terms of pre-trip communications. She happened to be on the island while we were there, so we got to meet her and her husband. They were unobtrusive, but very helpful when we had questions. She even brought me a delicious banana cream pie for my birthday dinner.

The house is great in every way. The outdoor shower was a favorite feature of everyone. I highly recommend Hale Aloha. Try to stay for longer than 4 days and nights-it simply was not enough. Nevertheless, it made for the perfect Hawaii-Five-O birthday celebration.

Mahalo and Aloha indeed!

Going to Kauai? You should Definately Stay at Hale Aloha!

  • 5 of 5

My first time to Kauai was about 5 years ago. My husband and I rented the Garden Cottage which is located slightly behind Hale Aloha. The Garden Cottage is Perfect for 1 or 2 people. A studio, with a little kitchen area and the outdoor shower is the Best! After we returned home I knew I wanted to go back.

In September 2014, I went back to Kauai with my Husband and my Parents. We rented Hale Aloha for 8 days and had a Great time. Where do I start........ the house is so Comfortable! The beach is right across the street, my Mom and I did Yoga on the Beach at Sun Rise almost every morning. The Farmers Market in Hanalei was a Great place to pick up Fresh Fruits and Veggies ( don't forget to get a chocolate covered banana). Within walking distance from Hale Aloha we were able to swim with Sea Turtles, that was Amazing! One of the days we hiked the Na Pali Coast to Beautiful Hanakapi'ai Falls. There is so much to do on the North Shore of Kauai. If you are looking for a Great Place to stay when visiting Kauai, I Highly Recommend Hale Aloha! We are all looking forward to going back.

Fabulous family friendly home

  • 5 of 5

We visited with my wife, two kids, and two grandparents. The house was spacious, family friendly and perfect for our week on the north shore. We especially enjoyed walking along the beach towards Tunnels. This is a great base for exploring the Haena and Hanalei area. Thanks to Beverly & Doug for sharing their beautiful home! Mahalo!

Relaxing Home in Paradise

  • 5 of 5

This home is exactly as listed and pictures. It is terrific for groups. Easy to access beaches, hiking, snorkeling and to go into Hanalei and Princeville, which are towns nearby. Best if the renter has a car (provides covered parking). It is authentic, quiet, and charming. It is set up in a way for all in the group to be able to get together for meals and to get away from each other when needed. Not only is it decorated in a lovely way, it has loads of extras to make the whole experience more affordable and easy..ie, washer/dryer, outdoor shower that is incredible, chairs, coolers and boogie boards for the beach, pots and pans, dishes and towels of all kinds. Owners are lovely to deal with. All of us were thrilled and would stay here again in a second.

Mahalo

Well, we made it back to Los Angeles and are already experiencing Kauai withdrawal. I'm trying to convince my husband we need to relocate there... I'd REALLY like that. Thank you again for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home. We all had a wonderful time and left with so many special memories of our family vacation.

We visited at least one beach a day (Anini, Hanalei Bay, Tunnels, Ke'e, Poipu Park Beach, Lumahai). When the waters were calm we went boogie boarding and snorkeling, and saw fish and sea turtles (Awesome!). We also had fun renting kayaks and paddling up and down the river. The Lumahuli Botanical garden and Kilauea Lighthouse were lovely sites to see too. On our way to the Airport, we stopped at a couple impressive waterfalls. We had a VERY full week and still didn't see everything, so I guess we'll need to make another trip to Kauai someday : )

At the end of our long days spent at the beach it was so relaxing to return to your home, hangout and enjoy the lovely setting. A few days prior to our departure one of the locals left his mule named Poilei'e sp? (very black in Hawaiian) on the large vacant lot next to your property bc their property had flooded. The kids and I loved having him there to pet and feed carrots and apples to. We will miss him too.

We had planned to leave a note in your book but time escaped us prior to our departure. So sorry about that. Hopefully we can do it during our next visit to Kauai...
