One bedroom apartment, sleeps 2-5, next to underground station

This one bedroom vacation rental is located on Westminster Bridge Road next to Lambeth North Underground Station. The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of a 6 story modern building which has an elevator. The building also has a tranquil communal garden for your enjoyment as well as a security system for your safety.

Although this is a one-bedroom apartment, it can accommodate more than expected due to a fully sprung double sofa bed and a further fold up chair bed for a fifth person in the living room. The open layout includes a fully equipped modern kitchen as well as a designated dining area. The spacious bedroom has a kingsize bed. Laundry facilities are conveniently located inside the apartment. There is also a deep soak bathtub for your relaxation after a long day of exploring the wonderful city of London!

Fresh linen and towels provided and free internet wifi.

A terrific central base for London

This was a wonderfully convenient apartment very close to the centre of London. The location and facilities cannot be faulted. On location, it's within walking distance of the West End, and from the London Eye to the Tate Modern. The wonderful restaurants located in The Cut are a five minute walk away. The facilities are excellent - whether one simply wants a base or a 'home away from home'. Jamie, the owner manager, is a delight to deal with - nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I thoroughly recommend it and, indeed, have made return bookings.

Don't hesitate, book it!

My review is long over due, but nearly a year later we remember this apartment as a highlight of our travels. Jamie and Sherry made planning the trip so easy. Out of the stop and to the left... could not be more convenient! We slept well and prepared many meal in the apartment. nearly all the major sites were within walking distance. For London, the price was right. When, not if, we return to London this will be the first place we check to make sure it is available.

Could not have chosen a better place!

The title of this review says it all - we could not have been happier with our rental choice! Being right next door to the Underground and within walking distance of so many major attractions made this place a real catch. On top of all of that, it was comfortable, safe, and Jamie/Sherry were extremely helpful and professional. Jamie was prompt in refunding our damage deposit and even went out of his way to be sure we got the correct amount back when I had an issue with my bank (totally my bank's fault...not his). I will highly recommend Jamie's place to anyone I know who travels to London...it's perfect!

Nuestra estancia en el apartamento fue perfecta. El piso es tal y como se describe en la web. En perfecto estado, limpio, tranquilo.La ubicación es una de las mejores , justo al lado del metro y de la parada de bus. El trato tanto con Jamie como con Sherry fue magnifico desde el primer hasta el último día. Por cierto el pub que ésta más cercano es muy agradable para cenar o tomar una cerveza. La camarera habla español perfectamente. Supermercado muy cercano y además Sherry nos informó de todo lo que necesitábamos saber.En definitivamente el apartamento es Super recomendable. Great stay at this apartment good location, nice , clean , calm. Jamie and Sherry are really kind they did our reservation and stay really comfortable. l hope we'll see you soon. Thanks.

Excellent Apartment

This apartment was just as described in the listing. It was clean, neat and tidy and met all our expections. On site cleaning staff were friendly and the building and its parking facilities were more than acceptable. Great location, close to transport and all London attractions. Received our deposit back into our bank account in an expedient manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

The apartment is situated in Lambeth North, a great location that provides a variety of many things to do and see. In the immediate vicinity of this apartment there are various restaurants such as the Italian restaurant Cotto across the road and the delicious Cuban restaurant, Cubana. To really submerge yourself in the British culture you could check out the pub, The Horse (across the street) or the the Three Stags for the best Sunday Roast Dinner around. For those who enjoy relaxing in the park, look no further than Archbishops Park or even the beautiful Jubilee Gardens located by Waterloo Bridge.

Nearby are many tourist attractions such as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel. If you enjoy museums don't miss out on the Imperial War Museum and gardens, but if you prefer theatre, make sure you attend the National Theatre or the Old Vic Theatre. This apartment is only 20 metres from Lambeth North Tube station which gives you easy access to the Bakerloo Line allowing you to have fast transport within and around the city – 10 minutes to Oxford Circus and 20 minutes to Westfield Shopping Centre. A bus stop opposite the apartment allows you to hop on the 148 bus and take a direct trip to Buckingham Palace. This vacation rental is in the centre of London, a perfect place for you to come home to after you explore the city!
