This one bedroom vacation rental is located on Westminster Bridge Road next to Lambeth North Underground Station. The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of a 6 story modern building which has an elevator. The building also has a tranquil communal garden for your enjoyment as well as a security system for your safety.

Although this is a one-bedroom apartment, it can accommodate more than expected due to a fully sprung double sofa bed and a further fold up chair bed for a fifth person in the living room. The open layout includes a fully equipped modern kitchen as well as a designated dining area. The spacious bedroom has a kingsize bed. Laundry facilities are conveniently located inside the apartment. There is also a deep soak bathtub for your relaxation after a long day of exploring the wonderful city of London!

Fresh linen and towels provided and free internet wifi.

BEST LOCATION.

We stayed in this apartment for 9 nights during May 2014. We wanted to be close to the sights. This apartment was perfect. This the first we have rented anywhere though homeandway. We were a little hesitant at first but a friend recommended Jamie’s apartment to us. We are so glad she did. It suited our needs perfectly. Sherry met us and explained everything. She was available to call if we had any concerns. Any questions we had were answered quickly.
The apartment was clean and had everything we needed and more. It was wonderful to be able to have some space to spread out a bit. There were plenty of shops close by. We shopped at the local supermarket so at night we were able to do a little cooking. It was wonderful to wash some clothes as well (the washer/dryer are a definite plus).
As others have said the apartment was in a perfect location. We like to walk and most days didn’t use any transport. The days we did the buses tube and rail station were at our door and easy to use.
Jamie’s apartment is a fantastic base for exploring London!

VERY WARM

Thanks to my friend in the UK who helped me get this apartment in the most central location of this beautiful city, from the security, to the cleanliness, the coziness- to the access to the rest of the city, it was a comfortable stay. Lambeth north tube station is almost under the building.
A little discomfort happened during the late check in, which was notified to the owner in advance though, was a shock to my family, rest everything was good.
would definitely stay again in my subsequent visits to london if ever.

A GREAT FLAT IN A GREAT LOCATION

Having never rented an apartment in London before (as well as renting something I won't get the chance to physically inspect), I had to rely heavily on listings that were well reviewed and had a lot of positive feedback. While there were many that fell under that category, this unit met all of our requirements best.

I'll just mention the things I feel mattered the most to us:

Beds - Didn't use the single, but there is a queen (or full?) in the bedroom which was nice and firm. The sofa bed was also surprisingly comfortable since it had wooden slats for support compared to the spring/canvas variety.

Kitchen - Was fully equipped and came with a clothes washer and dryer (made me realize I should have packed less). Cupboards was fully stocked when it came to pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc.

Bathroom - Bathroom was of adequate size. It was nice and clean and had a towel warmer which was pretty neat. There were enough towels for us to use (there were 3 of us)

Temp - Weather was in the 40s - low 50s (Fahrenheit) so it was definitely comfortable with just the window open. I didn't even bother turning on the fan.

Convenience - It was right next to the Lambeth North station! When you arrive at the station totally beat from sightseeing, its a great thought that once you exit the station, your bed is only a few steps away instead of a 1 mile hike or a bus ride away.

Its a 10 min walk to the London Eye, and just a couple mins more to Parliament, Big Ben, etc.

There are also lots of places nearby for groceries, baked goods, coffee, etc.

All in all, we found it to be a great apartment. Jamie was the most responsive of all the owners we reached out to and also the most professional. We'll definitely rent this place again the next time we're in town.

PERFECT APARTMENT, UNBELIEVABLY CONVENIENT.

I stayed at the apartment in the beginning of November 2013 and the apartment is perfect. Everything was clean and very well maintained and any questions I had were answered quickly.
Everything about the apartment is convenient (the washer/dryer are a definite plus). It's a quick 5 minute walk to most of the major sights in London, such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Kensington Palace, etc. Many more attractions are good little hike past that. The apartment is next door to the Lambeth North Underground station which makes getting around London an absolute breeze. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area, but with the Underground just next door nothing is more than a few minutes away.
Another great thing is that as close as the apartment is to everything, it's in an area that's not too hectic. I found it actually quite peaceful in the mornings and nights, so don't worry about noise.
I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone. It's perfect for one or two, but could comfortably house a few people. Whether you're staying for a few days or much longer, this is the apartment to rent. Hands down. When I return I would definitely rent the apartment if it's available again.

The apartment is situated in Lambeth North, a great location that provides a variety of many things to do and see. In the immediate vicinity of this apartment there are various restaurants such as the Italian restaurant Cotto across the road and the delicious Cuban restaurant, Cubana. To really submerge yourself in the British culture you could check out the pub, The Horse (across the street) or the the Three Stags for the best Sunday Roast Dinner around. For those who enjoy relaxing in the park, look no further than Archbishops Park or even the beautiful Jubilee Gardens located by Waterloo Bridge.

Nearby are many tourist attractions such as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel. If you enjoy museums don't miss out on the Imperial War Museum and gardens, but if you prefer theatre, make sure you attend the National Theatre or the Old Vic Theatre. This apartment is only 20 metres from Lambeth North Tube station which gives you easy access to the Bakerloo Line allowing you to have fast transport within and around the city – 10 minutes to Oxford Circus and 20 minutes to Westfield Shopping Centre. A bus stop opposite the apartment allows you to hop on the 148 bus and take a direct trip to Buckingham Palace. This vacation rental is in the centre of London, a perfect place for you to come home to after you explore the city!

For bookings of less than a week, there is a £45.00 cleaning fee. Arrivals after 10.00pm are subject to a £45.00 late arrival fee.
Notes A non-refundable payment to be received to confirm the booking. A refundable damage deposit of £200.00 is also required. This will be returned at the end of your rental, directly to your bank account within 1 week of vacating the apartment.

Check-in is after 14:00, check out is before 10:00 am, unless otherwise agreed.
