One bedroom apartment, sleeps 2-5, next to underground station

This one bedroom vacation rental is located on Westminster Bridge Road next to Lambeth North Underground Station. The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of a 6 story modern building which has an elevator. The building also has a tranquil communal garden for your enjoyment as well as a security system for your safety.

Although this is a one-bedroom apartment, it can accommodate more than expected due to a fully sprung double sofa bed and a further fold up chair bed for a fifth person in the living room. The open layout includes a fully equipped modern kitchen as well as a designated dining area. The spacious bedroom has a kingsize bed. Laundry facilities are conveniently located inside the apartment. There is also a deep soak bathtub for your relaxation after a long day of exploring the wonderful city of London!

Fresh linen and towels provided and free internet wifi.

The apartment is situated in Lambeth North, a great location that provides a variety of many things to do and see. In the immediate vicinity of this apartment there are various restaurants such as the Italian restaurant Cotto across the road and the delicious Cuban restaurant, Cubana. To really submerge yourself in the British culture you could check out the pub, The Horse (across the street) or the the Three Stags for the best Sunday Roast Dinner around. For those who enjoy relaxing in the park, look no further than Archbishops Park or even the beautiful Jubilee Gardens located by Waterloo Bridge.

Nearby are many tourist attractions such as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel. If you enjoy museums don't miss out on the Imperial War Museum and gardens, but if you prefer theatre, make sure you attend the National Theatre or the Old Vic Theatre. This apartment is only 20 metres from Lambeth North Tube station which gives you easy access to the Bakerloo Line allowing you to have fast transport within and around the city – 10 minutes to Oxford Circus and 20 minutes to Westfield Shopping Centre. Fantastic Location, Great personalised service

After spending hours on the net looking for suitable accommodation for a family of five in London we tried HomeAway. There were many options available but we settled on Jamie's because of the reasonable price and ideal location.

After a terrible rental experience in New York we were delighted to be met on arrival. Sherry added a personal touch to the rental and shared some valuable information about the flat and the area.

The flat is exactly as described, you won't be disappointed. Our three children, aged between 7-9, were very comfortable on the fold out double sofa and chair that folded out into a small single bed. The washer and dryer were very handy and the free wifi enabled us to gather info for our touring and catch up on news from home.

The tube station, Lambeth North, is less than a minute from the building. We were only a few stops away from many of the main attractions. The London Eye and Big Ben was a brief 10 minute walk. There some good pubs and restaurants in the area and a Costa Coffee across the road for that early morning hit. The Cost Cutter grocery store was 2 minutes walk and came in handy.

Jamie was a great host and always quick to respond to any queries.

We will definitely be recommending this flat to our friends and family.

Amazing Location and Very Clean

We had a great stay in London. On arrival we were welcomed by Cherry who was great and showed us everything around, the apartment was very clean, convenient and cozy. Jamie was also kind enough to provide a baby cot and highchair for a our 2 year old which was amazing! We'll definetly come back next year.

We had a fantastic stay in London. The apartment is very clean and well stocked including washer and dryer. Sherry met us at the apartment and was very pleasant.
The only problem was the hot water which was only available for one shower. As there was 5 of us the showers needed to be spaced out. The apartment is ideally located with the underground is two doors away.
Owner's Response: I was sorry to learn about the issues you had with the hot water. Both my colleague Sherry or I are always available and on call if there is an issue with the apartment or if guests need assistance. As soon as I saw your review I called in a plumber and the issue with the hot water is now completely resolved - easily fixed by replacing a part in the boiler. I'm glad that everything else during the stay met with your expectations.

We stayed 4 nights recently, a well appointed good size apartment. Great location close to restaurants and particularly The Three Stags pub on Kennington Road, which was very good. Owner, Jamie was very reliable and helpful. Highly recommended.
Owner's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the 'gastropub' the Three Stags located just down the road. They do an amazing traditional roast dinner on a Sunday and a great selection of English ales.

Magnifique appartement

L'appartement est en tous points conforme au descriptif, très propres et très confortable. Nous étions 5 (2 adultes et 3 ados) et l'espace est bien suffisant. L'emplacement est idéal pour toutes les visites. A pieds, à 10 minutes de la Tamise , au pied de la station de métro et de l'arrêt de bus. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour, avec le soleil. Nous avons reçu un accueil très chaleureux de la part de Sherry.
Merci à Jamie pour ses précieux conseils sur les visites et les transports avant notre arrivée.
Nos meilleurs moments sont la montée à London Eyes, la visite du quartier de Camdem, Nothing Hill ( n'hésitez pas à vous perdre dans les petites rues loin de la foule), Tower Bridge de nuit c'est magnifique...
Londres est vraiment une ville à découvrir.
