This annex, known as The Lodge, was recently built and the interior is of a high standard throughout with luxury furnishings and all the equipment you need for a wonderful holiday. The accommodation is separate from the main house and has the benefit of its own private entrance. Southbourne-On-Sea is a suburb of Bournemouth. It is the most easterly part of the borough, between Boscombe and Christchurch, whilst still being a distinct seaside resort suburb within Bournemouth. Southbourne-On-Sea is still a popular area for tourists keen to escape the busier areas of Bournemouth town centre. The property is ideally situated between the cliff top and Tuckton Village, both being within walking distance, with the benefit of Seafield Gardens round the corner for a play park and sport/recreational activities. The cliff top offers access to the superb sandy beaches, a very popular children's sandy play park, cafes, fabulous views sweeping from the Isle of Wight across Poole Bay to the Isle of Purbeck, pubs and restaurants. Tuckton Village offers a selection of local shops and access to the idyllic Riverside walks which can lead you through to Hengistbury Head. The land train runs across Hengistbury Head from the bus terminus to the beach. A further walk from Tuckton Village takes you round to Christchurch Recreation on the river front with a children's play area and popular splash park. The main area of Southbourne-On-Sea is Southbourne Grove, also within walking distance, which is a long shopping street that has some unique and individual shops rather than high street chain shops. Shops include a butcher, a bakery, numerous cafés, hairdressers, convenience stores, homewares, gift shops and the post office. With Bournemouth and Christchurch centres being just a short drive away, where you will find entertainment, high street shops and a vast choice of restaurants, this really is a great holiday location.
