Modern detached luxury bungalow on one level situated in quiet village lane, in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Well equipped kitchen/diner with oven, hob, fridge freezer, washer/drier * television lounge with leather sofas, dvd and video player * second lounge with comfortable sofas and access to large balcony overlooking rear garden * main double bedroom with access to balcony * large fully tiled en suite shower room * twin bedroom (double and single beds) with dressing area * fully tiled family bathroom * large balcony with table and chairs overlooking a beautiful secluded rear garden with additional seating * BBQ * gas central heating * garage * offroad parking for two vehicles. Underhouse store gives the impression of two levels but property is on one level. Dogs welcome by arrangement (£10 charge per stay). Guests are requested not to smoke in the bungalow. Ample cleaning materials are provided. Tariff includes central heating, electric, linen and towels.

Little Oaks is situated in the village of Fairlight in a designated AONB, close to Hastings Country Park offering 650 acres of panoramic sea viewsand walks on the Firehills and Warren, Fairlight and Ecclesbourne Glens. It makes an excellent base to explore the ancient towns of Hastings, Battle, Rye and Winchelsea, all steeped in history and there are many visitor attractions. *Hastings Old Town with its castle, smugglers caves, medieval houses, museums, Blue Reef Acquarium, quaint twittens, bric a brac shops and art galleries. *The medieval walled town of Rye with its quaint cobbled streets and antique shops is renowned for its historical associations which include the Landgate and the Ypres Tower. It boasts fine architecture with half timbered houses clustered around the Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin with its ornate Quarterboys Clock. Enjoy a drink at the Mermaid Inn where smugglers once drank. From the town there are local train services to Ashford with fast connections to London and to Paris, Lille and Brussels via the Channel Tunnel. *For steam train enthusiasts the Kent and East Sussex Railway has trips from Tenterden to Bodiam through glorious countryside. There is also a miniature steam train which runs between Hythe and Dymchurch. *The beautiful hilltop town of Winchelsea where you can visit the Church of St Thomas with its magnificent stained glass windows, and Court Hall Museum. *Bodiam Castle and moat, built in 1385. *The area offers many National Trust attractions as well as grand houses and gardens such as Great Dixter, Bedgebury Pinetum, Merriments Gardens, Pashley Manor Gardens, Sheffield Park Gardens and Sissinghurst. *Rye Nature Reserve, Pett Pools at Pett Level and Winchelsea Beach, and the RSPB Sanctuary at Dungeness provide excellent bird watching opportunities. *Camber Sands offers five miles of sand dunes and wide open beaches. *For the golf enthusiast there are courses at Rye, Hastings, Sedlescombe and Cooden.

We regret that Little Oaks is not suitable for wheel chair users as it is on a sloping site and there are steps to outside doors.

We have been to Little Oaks several times for our holidays. The bungalow is spacious and comfortable with a TV Lounge and second lounge for reading the morning papers, which you can get from the small local shop. It also has a veranda that runs along the back of the bungalow, which overlooks the lovely large, mature garden with seating areas. The main bedroom is en-suite and has doors going out on to the veranda where you can sit and have your morning coffee. It was spotless, very well equipped and maintained. It is situated in a very quiet residential area. Nearby is a country park, which has lovely views and good walking. Most places of interest are in easy driving distance. There are several pubs in the area where you can get lunch/evening meals. We were made very welcome by the owners and would definitely recommend Little Oaks.
