Ideal location and exactly as described.

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was clean and homely and we were well looked after by Sue. The villagers were very friendly and the local hotel served beautiful food. We would, and indeed, have recommended it to friends. The village is well situated to explore both the seaside and country with bus links to Aberdeen Montrose and Dundee. We would certainly return any time we were going to the North East.

Fantastic, lovely, comfortable cottage.

Lovely, very comfortable and cosy, clean cottage, perfect for 2 persons and our dog. Great village, everyone really friendly, well stocked shop. We had a great time in The Swan every evening, mixing with the locals. We will definitely return and strongly recommend.

Small but Perfect

  • 5 of 5

Looking for a get away from it all place? You have found it! A charming cottage in an ideal location within the village, it has everything you need for a quiet relaxing holiday or break. One bedroom, with a very large comfortable bed and plenty of clothes space, bathroom with an excellent shower and modern fixtures, cosy lounge and a neat kitchen, which includes a washing machine. The owner, Sue, could not have been more helpful. All you need are supplied, towels, bedding, kitchen equipment etc. Well behaved dogs welcome and there are good doggy walks in the village (don't forget the pooper scooper) and along the coastal path. A village store is well stocked with the essentials and is also the local Post Office. There is a bus service to either Montrose or Inverbervie but a car makes life just that bit easier, although the streets are narrow and twisty and parking is usually on the street. This cottage is highly recommended and we will certainly stay here again, hopefully this year.

A lovely wee cottage with everything you need for a holiday. Dog-friendly & very reasonable price! The village has a dog-friendly pub too, with very good fresh produce. Owner Sue was very friendly too. Would recommend.
