Traditional Spanish living with modern facilities, located 80 meters from beach.

Newly re-furbished 2 bedroom town house with 2 terraces, sleeps 4-6. This excellent town house is located 80 meters from 'La Carihuela' beach. The beachfront walkway runs between Torremolinos and Benalmadena and the apartment is positioned central to these two towns and only ten minutes walking distance to each one. The location is perfect for relaxation with bars, restaurants, cafes, tapas bars, and shops all on your doorstep. Malaga airport is only ten minutes away, by car or taxi. The town house apartment is comfortably furnished and keeping with traditional Spanish style. All windows have blackout sun shutters and all rooms have air conditioning with hot and cold air. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, microwave ,dishwasher, washing machine, iron/ironing board. Also includes satellite T.V., D.V.D., sun loungers, bed linen, towels and hairdryer. All year-round holiday rental, long and short lets. Children welcome, low allergen environment.

Newly added items to the property.: After we have spoken to many clients, we have added a few extras to our accommodation.

1. Safety deposit box

3. A new awning has been fitted outside above the balcony area for shade in the hot months.

We both enjoyed our stay at your apartment in Carihuela and would recommend it and Alan and Dianne couldn't have been more helpful. I tried to put this review on the website but it isn't accepting my password. One note of warning, tall people would want to watch their heads coming down the stairs as i gave mine a whack bringing down our luggage. We hope to return sometime, John And Flora Monaghan

***PERFECT BASE***

Right from the start, we were collected by prior arrangement with the owner's, at Malaga Airport, on time and taken straight to the apartment. Everything we needed to know about the superb, clean, roomy and well maintained apartment, was explained to us and we were shown around the immediate area. The fantastic beach was on the doorstep and the shops, bars and restaurants were too many to be fully explored! The resort was clean, friendly and the locals made a real fuss of the kids. Having travelled to many destinations around the world, I can honestly say the food was excellent, with numerous restaurants to be tried (new tapas bar next to apartment was exceptional) and the facilities were second to none.
I could carry on for pages and pages, all I can say is we wanted for nothing, had two weeks pure fun and relaxation and I have already made plans to return! Be quick though because many of my friends are planning a trip here!
To finish I was fortunate enough to meet Gavin and Carol in person and I can say first hand, that they are genuine, honest and extremely helpful, which all adds to the overall experience... Get booking!

Alan who looks after the property will welcome you and help you with the layout of the house and show you where the local supermarkets and other amenities are. There is no problem buying your usual products in the supermarkets, and most of the Spanish speak very good English.
The local church is only 100yds away, this is where the local Spanish weddings are held, where you can watch at close hand and see true Spanish fashion.

A True Home from Home

We have stayed in Torremolinous for years in different hotels but this time decided to rent an apartment. We were not disappointed. This apartment had everything we could possibly want and more! It was spotless and very well maintained. The location was perfect, a stones through from the beach, shopping area and restauarants. The Supermarket was a 2 minute walk away and had a wide selection of everything!!! When you exit the apartment complex you are right on a shopping street but from the apartment you could not hear a sound and the same at night time it was so quiet. We will never stay in a hotel again after this experience! And hope to use this wonderful apartment again very soon! Carol has a beautiful home and we are so grateful for the use!

A little piece of Heaven 10/10

We recently spent a great family holiday in both apartments 12 and 13. My daughter and her family in 13, myself and husband in 12. We could not believe how peaceful it was and yet the busy shops, bars, restaurants etc were all on the doorstep. The beach was a mere 2 min walk away. The apartments were as the owners
Carol and Gavin said they would be, and honestly they were like a home from home. They were spotless and are looked after very well by Dianne and Allan. We will be returning again to stay here as we found it to be a great little piece of a heaven.

Oasis of tranquility few steps from the beach

We visited Torremolinos in February 2014 during the school holidays and had a great stay in Carihuela. The communication with Carol and later with Alan was impeccable - they promptly answered all our questions. Alan also very kindly took us to the airport at the crack of dawn on Saturday. Thanks again, Alan!
The house/duplex is situated around the corner from the seaside promenade, but it was very quiet and tranquil. It is nicely and thoughtfully decorated and we did not miss a thing. The weather in winter can get chilly in Spain, but the heating system worked without a glitch and there was an electric heater and extra blankets as well.
There are lots of little shops, cafes and restaurants in the nearest proximity as well as two bakeries where we could buy our breakfast pastries fresh from the oven. It's a really nice neighbourhood.
You don't really need a car - the buses that run on the main road take you in both directions: Malaga and Fuengirola and further on to Marbella. You only need it if you want to make longer roadtrips - to Ronda. We had a lot of fun - visited the Crocodile parc, Butterfly parc, the zoo (Bioparc) in Fuengirola, Selwo Marina parc in Benalmadena, Malaga and Nerja, all by public transport alone.
Having seen the region, I absolutely reccomend Carihuela - it's smack in the middle of everything - and would stay at Carol's place again.
The website is acting a bit odd - so in case my star rating does not show - it's five out of five. :)

The location is perfect for this destination, the beach just being 50 meters away, with all the bars, restaurants, cafes, tapas bars and the shops being just on your doorstep. Torremolinos is 10 minutes walk away, with plenty of shops and restaurants. Benalmadena port is 10 minutes walk with its port and harbour, where you can travel by boat to Malaga. It is an ideal place to explore as the main bus line to Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Malaga, Mijas, Benalmadena and Marbella are on your doorstep. The costa del sol in general and Torremolinos in particular has a wide selection of entertainment and sport e.g. the nearby historical city of Malaga, the Botanical gardens, the zoo at Fuengirola, Sea Life at Benalmadena and a wide offer of day excursions to Granada, Seville or Cordoba. If you would sooner hire a car you can hire one from the airport, or book on line before you leave.

Other Activities: Go karting, football, aqua park, Tivoli world (fun fair) Pedalos, canoes, boat and fishing trips

Golf: Golf: ANDALUCIA IS NOW A WORLD CLASS DESTINATION FOR GOLF. Andalucia is a golfer's paradise and golf tourism is increasing by leaps and bounds. Come and experience what the region has to offer and remember to book your holiday early! Ski: Ski: The Sierra Nevada ski resort is located at Pradollano in the Sierra Nevada mountains. This is Europe's most southerly ski resort and it is small in comparison to other European resorts. However, the facilities are considered top-rate and it has hosted numerous national and international ski and snowboard events. The Sierra Nevada ski resort has numerous runs of varying difficulties to satisfy all levels of skiers.
