Placed in an EXCELLENT location, this luxury Penthouse apartment 'boasts' one of the 'very' best placed positions on this complex! It has been beautifully furnished to a very high standard and is equipped with everything you require to experience real 'home from home' comfort.

An added luxury to the interior has to be the 'very large' wrap around, fully furnished, south facing terrace with FULL SUN on the terrace all day! The terrace, one of the largest and well placed on the complex affords a full, south facing aspect, offering a 'SUPERB SEA VIEW' which will be enjoyed at all times of the day from sunrise to sunset and will provide many photographic opportunities across the Mediterranean and to the coast of Africa! Fully air/heat conditioned throughout, 'Free' Internet provided UK TV (as Sat TV no longer available in Spain!) and flat screen TV in lounge, DVD player, i-Pod docking station, children's games and WI-FI INTERNET access. The apartment is set within a secure gated complex complete with 4 lovely pools (+3 children's pools) in lovely landscaped gardens, equipped with sunbeds, toilets and showering facilities.

The apartment has its own allocated private underground parking with direct lift to the apartment and the nearest bar/restaurants and ATM are just a 5 min walk from the complex - 3 gorgeous beaches with restaurants, bars and water sports (one of which has its own very 'picturesque' Marina) are only a 5 min drive!

Due to the location of the apartment, all of this coast's MAJOR RESORTS and FAMILY ATTRACTIONS can be reached in under 15 minutes to include Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola ,Benalmedena, Mijas. Aqualand, Tivoli World, Cable cars, Marine Land, Fuengirola Zoo etc.

Penthouse Terrace- The 'Pièce de Résistance!'

The terrace area is very much commented upon by guests and is a super feature of this apartment!

The very large 'wrap around' terrace, one of the very few well placed for unrivalled views on this complex, continues to delight our guests and with its' south facing aspect it enjoys sun all day from sunrise to sunset and it affords a beautiful panoramic sea view across to the coast of Africa!!

It is equipped with sun beds and drinks table, a large dining table with 6 chairs and a large parasol, coffee table with 2 chairs and a built in BBQ for wonderful 'al fresco' dining!

To finish off your day, there is a lovely comfy terrace suite where you can sit and relax with a long cold drink in the early evening (and later!) as you watch the sun set over the Mediterranean, the coast of Africa and the Atlas mountains!

Calahonda Information: Calahonda is a busy resort with a rustic flavour and is very much centred on the holidaymaker, with four golf courses, tennis courts, and a shimmering coastline offering an array of water sports, shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants that have a truly global take on cuisine and cannot fail to suit all tastes!

Calahonda has its own marina called Cabopino (5 minutes away,) which has the reputation for being the most secluded and picturesque marina on the Costa del Sol. It has a superb sandy beach with bars and restaurants that have barbecue areas where freshly caught fish are cooked as a speciality. The marina is host to many lovely and well known reputable restaurants,

Eating Out around Calahonda: Within a few minutes walk of the apartment you will find a mini-market and bar/restaurants all of which we can highly recommend. Walking a little further on (3 minute drive) will bring you to the ‘Strip’ well known in Calahonda for its wide choice of restaurants, which cater for literally all tastes, including Swiss! Around the corner from the Strip is the El Zoco Centre where you will find a further choice of wonderful restaurants set in a lovely pedestrianised area. In addition you will find gift shops, banks, newsagents, pharmacy etc and one of 3 large supermarkets, which will cater for all your needs. Opposite the El Zoco, just across the coastal road, there is the Dona Lola Complex where yet again you will find a further choice of good bars and restaurants to choose from.

“FANTASTIC” PENTHOUSE APARTMENT!

My wife and children had the most ‘perfect’ holiday at this apartment. We have been doing private rentals for a very long time and this by far, exceeded our expectations. The owner Sharon was most helpful throughout, from the initial enquiry to post stay communication and she made the whole booking and arrival process very easy and straightforward for us which we really appreciated following a not so good experience the previous year at another apartment. The apartment was lovely and clean, very spacious, beautifully furnished and so well equipped, it really did feel like being at home! The terrace area is a pure delight, it is large and spacious, has a ‘lovely’ sea view and indeed, as promised, it had sun all day from the moment it came up to the point it went down! The children loved using the 4 pools on the complex and we were pleasantly surprised that at times we would have the whole pool to ourselves, having said that, the pools were never over crowded during our stay anyway. The apartment is on a peaceful complex yet a stone’s throw from everything that you would want from a family holiday, there are 2 lovely beaches literally a 5 minute drive along the N340 in opposite directions, many more obviously along the coast and we were able to reach all of the attractions that the children wanted to do like Tivoli World, Sea Life, Zoo, Water park and Selwo Adventure park within a 20 minute drive time from the apartment finally, there are just too many good restaurants in the locality to choose from! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking at it and would assure others that you can book with confidence with Sharon and to sum up our feelings “we have already booked another 2 weeks next year!” that should say enough – thank you Sharon for giving us excellent service and for your lovely apartment which we are really looking forward to returning to again........counting the weeks already!

I know we had quite a few chats before you went away about what was available in the area for your children to do (and we have a lot of this information on our own website too) and as you have now found out, there was plenty to do and not very far away from the apartment either, so none of the cries of "are we there yet" to endure from the back seat!! From speaking with you on your return, we know you too have been able to experience and appreciate the peacefulness of the complex and apartment and benefited from that with your own time to 'chill out' and relax at the end of a day and I know (like many other previous guests), that you really enjoyed the very large terrace space and the view! The fact that you booked another 2 weeks for next year, almost immediately upon your return, is a good enough testimony for us of your enjoyment of your stay - maybe the second time around, you will get to sample more of the restaurants on offer in the area, as you did say you were spoiled for choice - I did warn you! Brilliant Holiday.

My wife and I stayed here with her elderly Mother who has some mobility problems.
I knew as soon as we contacted Sharon,who rented us their property, we were going to be well looked after and would have a wonderful stay,
She gave us all the information and guidance we needed through a series of emails.
We were met by the very welcoming and friendly Monica who looks after the apartment and she took us directly there.
The Apartment itself is well maintained with all the facilities you would need and fabulous views from a terrace which gets the sun ALL day.
It has three good sized bedrooms and a very large lounge/sitting room.
It also has an elevator with direct access.
There are several pools ( four I think) which you have access to.
It is in a nice quiet area, though you definitely need a car. (Underground parking space)
All in all I can't praise Sharon & Monica enough for their assistance before AND after our holiday and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Excellent penthouse apartment

Excellent well equipped apartment set in the hills of Calahonda. We were met just off the toll road by the owners agent who took us to the apartment and showed us around. There were four of us so the apartment was more than big enough, with plenty of seating inside and out. The pictures of the balcony do not do it justice. Many a nightcap was had on there. Calahonda is a good base if you want to travel to the resorts on the Costa del sol. Excellent communication between the owners and ourselves helped the holiday run smoothly.

Holiday in October

We were four adults and two children. The apartment is very comfortable and well equiped. Plenty of room for all of us. The balcony is particularly spacious where one can get the sun at any time of day, and bbq. Even plenty of games for children if needed. Good eating places just within walking distance but a car is recommended especially for the beaches.
We tended to walk down to the restaurants and taxi back, 6 euros.
Choice of beaches within a ten minute drive.
Good size pools on site. We like walking and there are hill walks right on the doorstep.
All in all a good holiday apartment.

From our conversations before your departure, we knew that your family were keen walkers and our guest information book outlines a particular walk from our complex up to the 'old fire watch tower' which from this point, gives a far reaching and fantastic view of most of this coast to include the village of Mijas and Gibralter!. Yes the most local recommended restaurants to the complex to walk to are very good then, as you say, to reach many more good restaurants in the heart of the resort, it is either just a 3 min drive (if you don't want to walk down) or a short inexpensive taxi ride away. We do always recommend car hire to our guests for the sheer convenience of getting about under your own steam, self catering purposes and for all the 'beach gear' that guests carry! We were very happy to hear following your return, that when you holiday in this area again, you would be giving us a call, that is always the best compliment we can get! Calahonda and the apartment, is very easily reached in around 25 minutes from Malaga airport. It is situated a few kilometres east of Marbella, right in the heart of the Costa del Sol’s “golf valley”. It is in an excellent location from which to easily visit some of the best places that the Costa del Sol coast has to offer, such as Puerto Banus, Mijas, Benalmedena, Estepona, Ronda and Granada and not forgetting Gibralter for all your Duty Free shopping and monkey encounters!

The apartment is only 5 minutes drive from 2 wonderful beaches, 2 minutes to nearest golf course, 2 minutes to large Tennis, Squash, Gym and Sauna Club, 10 minutes to Mijas Water Park and many other great family attractions reached within 15 minutes including, Aqualand, Fuengirola Zoo, Crocodile Park, Tivoli World, Sealife Centre, Selwo Safari Park, Selwo Marina, Cable Cars and Funny Beach and the apartment is only 3 minutes from an abundant choice of bars and restaurants within the resort of Calahonda itself!

Golf: The nearest golf course of 'La Siesta' is only 2 mins from the apartment, however the largest golfing complex in Spain the 'La Cala Resort' is only 15 minutes away.
