Villa Anemone Residence: 3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 7

When Austrian architect, Marie Luise Andoniadou, came to Poros in the early nineties for the first time, she instantly knew that this was the place for her. She has since bought and restored two 19th century houses and has recently finished a third one.

She worked with a lot of respect for the old character of the houses, and furnished them with charming antiques and country style pieces. But she also added a modern hint to them, using fresh colours and touches of luxury. Combined with service and amenities of an up scale hotel, the properties yet retain the unique atmosphere and authenticity of their charming Greek island setting.

Sto Roloi was the first one, which she converted into two 2bedroom apartments and a studio. After she finished those, she started on the Anemone Residence, which she split into a small villa with private plunge pool in the garden and the Little Tower, a secluded maisonette type studio. In summer 2007 she finished Limeri Residence, a true hide away, offering a small villa and a studio with a secluded, shared pool.
