Great apartment in the perfect location

Stayed for a week here with the wife and 3 children, ages 12, 10 and 5. The apartment was very clean and cozy with all the ammenities you need, including a ski locker right by the door. It is part of a small complex which included a shared heated pool if you are not exhausted from skiing !! The best thing however is the location, you can walk just a few steps down the drive, put your skis on and ski to the prarion lift. At the end of the day you can ski back to the same place. Les Houches has 2 main lifts, with the Belleview cable car in the middle of the town but to my mind the newer Prarion Gondola lift is much quicker and more convenient. We drove so we had the car to get to the supernarket in Les Houches which is just a few minutes from the apartment and pretty good. However there are only a couple of shops and a restaurant at this end of Les Houches, although busses all over the Chamonix region are frequent. I would recommend for a family holiday as opposed to a full on apres ski resort (stay in Chamonix for that !!).
Overall would I recommend this for value for money ? Well we've already booked again for next year !!
