Large luxury 3 bedroom bungalow with secluded private pool and garden

Skalon Heights is a large luxury three bedroom bungalow with private drive, garage, pool, BBQ, and mature garden set on a hillside overlooking Parekklisia. This beautiful home is very fully equipped and comfortably furnished to a high standard throughout.

The spacious lounge / dining room features TV and DVD player, classic style sofas and occasional tables, and an armchair. A superb dining table and chairs seats 10 for fine dining occasions, and log burner adds that extra something if the evenings turn cool.

Two large double-bedrooms sleep up to 4 adults. The third bedroom, equipped as a study with WiFi internet, has a leather sofa-bed for an adult or two children. The main bedroom features en-suite facilities with separate shower, bath and WC. A separate shower room includes a WC.

Air conditioning is fitted for the warm months, with gas fired central heating for cooler times.

Relax in the secluded gardens and enjoy the many flowering plants and fruit trees.

The private driveway with electric gates, attached garage with automatic door, and pool area and garden with mature hedges, ensures security and privacy when you want it.

All electricity sockets are UK voltage and accept UK plugs.

The fully equipped kitchen breakfast room includes an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, numerous food preparation devices and a large fridge cabinet, as well as a breakfast/dining table and chairs.

The garage, with side door into the main house incorporates a utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer, plus an upright freezer, and a large chilled storage cabinet for drinks.

The fitness enthusiast will find a range of exercise equipment in the garage, including a computerised Treadmill, press bench, a selection of dumbbells up to 4 kgs, an Abs Trainer, Swiss Ball, Step Box and a Thigh Step-Trainer.

A covered veranda, extending out from the lounge and kitchen, provides a secluded area overlooking the pool with dining table and easy chairs for relaxation and al-fresco meals.

Sun loungers, chairs and occasional tables are provided for the private secluded swimming pool. The poolside area also features a large gazebo, with hardwood dining table and chairs, and a traditional-style bar area with a stone-clad gas-fired barbeque for those summer gatherings.

The garden has a lovely collection of feature plants including stunning Bougainvillea, Oleander and Hibiscus, Frangipani, Cacti, Cyprus Fir, and Yucca. Why not gather fruits from the mature date palm, lemon, tangerine, apricot, pomegranate, fig and olive trees, and the grape vine?

Ich komme seid über 25 Jahren nach Zypern aber eine so gemütliche Unterkunft habe ich noch nie bekommen. Es ist alles sehr sauber, gemütlich und vollständig eingerichtet.Die ruhige Lage mach alles noch mehr zu einem richtigen Endspannungsurlaub. Perfekt für ein -vier Personen ohne das man sich gegenseitig auf die Nerven gehen kann, da alles sehr großzügig geschnitten ist. Da die Unterkunft etwas oberhalb von Limassol liegt ist ein Auto umbedingt von Nutzen. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und komme gerne wieder.

It's all very clean, cozy and completely eingerichtet.Die quiet location make everything even more of a right Endspannungsurlaub. Perfect for one to four persons without which one can get on each other's nerves, because everything is very spacious. Since the property is above some of Limassol umbedingt a car is useful. Parekklisia is set in stunning limestone hills approx’ 4kms from the sea and about 14km east of Limassol.

The village is easily reached along the main A1 highway from either of Cyprus’ main airports at Larnaka (60kms) or Paphos (75kms).

Parekklisia itself has a mix of traditional and modern facilities, including several supermarkets, two very good bakeries which make fresh English and local bread daily, two pharmacies, hardware stores, a dentist, doctor, hairdresser, nail bar and a bank for local transactions, amongst others. The village has several pubs and taverns and good local restaurants including Chinese, Fish and Cypriot.

The village’s famous Timios Stavros church, dating back some 1,000 years is one of Cyprus’ oldest churches. With amazing artwork and ancient icons, this is well worth a visit. The more recent (1965) Archangelos Michael orthodox church has regular Greek orthodox services.

Beaches with many local amenities and attractions, and the local Marina, are a just a 5 minute drive away. Here you can while away a few hours relaxing on the Marina’s Sailor’s Rest restaurant terrace admiring the host of beautiful sailing and motor yachts, or seek out more energetic pastimes along the nearby seafront. The mix of traditional and modern cuisine restaurants and taverns along the beach road cater for a whole variety of international tastes.

A huge choice of outdoor activities within easy reach of the village or along the seafront include golf, clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, fishing, sub-aqua, parascending, jet-skiing, waterskiing windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling, swimming, or just sunbathing.

Santa Marina Retreat in Parekklisia has an lovely 18-hole golf course as well as a variety of sporting facilities. It is the largest private Stud Farm and racing stables in Cyprus with over 250 horses. Facilities include a club house, riding through unspoilt countryside, archery, climbing wall, and buggies for hire to explore the grounds or to play golf.

The excellent 18-hole championship standard golf course at the Secret Valley club, Aphrodite Hills, can be found about 65km away. Facilities include a premier Golf Academy and Pro Shop enhance your golfing experience, with the Clubhouse offering delectable specialities and a breathtaking view of the golf course.

Car or motorcycle hire, or a local bus service is readily available on the sea front, and several seafront shops provide a commission-free money change service at very good exchange rates.

Alternatively you’ll find Limassol’s shopping centres, cinema, bowling alley, nightclubs and other entertainment for all ages, main tourist hotspots and beaches, or medical facilities within easy reach only 14kms away along the picturesque B1 Beach Road or the main A1 highway.

In the old quarter of Limassol, St Andrews Street is famous for its traditional wares including economically priced good quality leather and embroidered goods.

A visit to the Fasouri Water Park beyond the western end of Limassol is well worth making, as well as a leisurely meander around the covered `Fleamarket` a little further on. The Mall, en-route to the water park, has an ice skating rink.

The island boasts many places of interest and historic monuments ranging from the steep sided forest-covered Troodos Mountains, to the remarkable Kykkos monastery, several famous winery’s, the Curium Amphitheatre, or village of Lefkara famous for Cypriot lace.

Parekklisia has an active community of UK expats who are very welcoming and helpful. The association magazine will be available in the bungalow to let you know what’s going on in the village. The majority of islanders speak English and are very helpful and friendly.
