It is a gated development, separated by the river from direct traffic access, so your children can enjoy themselves in safe surroundings.
we only wish to have guests who will treasure our property as we do, and to treat it as they would do their own. We appreciate that accidents can occur but we do not want the type of damage that is caused by children who are out of control or by adults who have little respect for a holiday property.
If this note of caution is acceptable to you, there is no doubt that you will have a special holiday and may even want to return !

I retired as a school teacher in 2005 after nearly 40 years in the classroom. I decided to try new ventures, including the purchase of a property in Crete. It has been a wonderful experience and my wife and I have had the opportunity to meet or email hundreds of guests who have found their way to Daisy.
It is in the centre of northern Crete, in an unspoilt village 3km from the sea. It is surrounded by trees ; the village stream ; the village church. The locals are proper 'Cretans' and there is a unique atmosphere without cash machines or English newspapers.
The village is very special in Crete, not least because it is the birthplace of El Greco, the famous painter. It is a favourite village for many of the Crete people, particularly on Sundays.
The village stream is fed by the mountains and it flows throughout the year. It is also home to a unique fauna and flora. It is a society more reminiscent of the 1950's and the area feels very safe. Our house is separated by 2 bridges and 100 metres from any form of motorised transport. The builders found it very difficult !
You can see many reviews on our own property at www.holidayhomecrete.com to see how our guests have enjoyed their holiday.
Our service managers will meet and greet you in person no matter what time you arrive. They will also familiarise you with living in Daisy and the key features of the village. You can pre order extra supplies in case the shops are closed when you arrive.
Many of our guests are repeat customers who have fallen in love with the Cretan life in the village. Some try all the Tavernas, others stay in Domenicos where they are regaled with stories and made a fuss of by Smoothy George.
