Penthouse apartment, 3 beds, 2 bathrooms, wood burning fire, amazing mountain views with 2 large balconies.

Reasons to choose this apartment:

1. 4 minutes walk to purchase lift pass and ski bus stop for access to Agentiere, Le Tour and Les Houches ski areas. Bus stop is 2nd stop of bus route, so almost gauranteed to get a seat (very important when holding skis and with children)

2. Ski access information available. When booking this apartment, if requested, you will receive detailed information on how to access each ski area using the ski buses. This will be the quickest and most efficient access routes built from local knowledge, thereby, minimising walking and time.

3. 5 minutes walk to apres ski, restaurants and town centre.

4. Skiing with small Children, 8 minutes walk to the Planards ski area, ideal for those very new to skiing, or introducing small children to skiing for the first time.

5. Lovely apartment, amazing long range views from the large balconies.

6. Top apartment, on 3 rd floor with short, wide, easy on the legs steps, apartment has private access allowing you to leave boots to warm for the next morning.

A few minutes walk to the nearest lift, ski hire, apres bars, restaurants. Free Town bus stops outside the apartment, great for bringing home the shopping. This apartment is the top apartment in a chalet building, it is on the 3rd floor but the stairs are well lit, short and wide and easy on the legs. It has private access on the 3rd floor, this means you can leave boots etc outside the apartment and they are warm for the next morning. The apartment has a traditional feel with wood beams and vaulted high ceilings, but all the modern facilities with BOSE surround sound, Sky & French TV with great wireless internet. The balconies are a real feature offering views over the Town, the Brevant Ski area, and in the distance Les Houches Ski area. From the large lounge and double bedroom window, you do not feel 'overlooked' Chamonix is probably best known as the skiing and alpine capital of the world. A 'buzzing' town, equally busy during the Summer and Ski season with a wide array of sporting and sedate leisure activities. Peace and quiet, great nightlife, and superb scenery that can be enjoyed at whichever pace suits you. Only 1 hour from Geneva Airport with regular and cheap shared transfers, Chamonix is the perfect place to come for a weekend break or a week's holiday. This traditional town is at the foot of Mont-Blanc and hosted the first winter Olympic Games in 1924.

Great apartment, great location!

What a nice apt with a lot of charm. The views are spectacular and the location couldn't have been better for us. The path just outside the building takes you into the heart of town in less than 5 minutes. We did not have a car, but it wasn't necessary as everything was within easy walking distance. We took Chamexpress from Geneva, and in spite of some bad revues, we thought they were convenient and great. Proximity to busses for skiing are great. We took the bus to Grand Monte which was easy and convenient. We did not try to figure out the local bus to Brevent Flegere (in spite of receiving directions from the owner and the stop being right at the apartment) and we walked over. I highly recommend figuring out the bus as the last hill to the gondola was very steep! The apt was very close to the Aiguille Du Midi cable car and the train stations, including the Montenvers Mer De Glace train. Apt was furnished with everything we needed and was very comfortable for four adults. My only minor complaint was that the one double bed was in a separate bedroom that essentially was the bedroom. For the person sleeping furthest from the door, it was a little challenge getting in and out of bed, but since we were not spending a lot of time in there, it wasn't that big of a deal. The owner was great and easy to work with. Very honest and straight forward. Would highly recommend to everybody!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. Yes the double room is tight for space, but there is plenty of storage space, however, the vaulted ceilings, large windows and amazing bedside views make up for it!

There were 6 of us staying in this three bed apartment. The location was ideal for us to be able to use the facilities in the town of Chamonix and with-in walking distance to the nearest chairlift which was approximately 5 - 10 minutes away. The apartment was well maintained and very clean.

Great Location

Really fit the bill for our stay in Chamonix.Only a short walk to the centre easy access to the reteraunts and bars.
Easy to find located on a quit rod just one turn of the main road from Geneva.Found all as described,clean and obviously well maintained.
No hesitation in booking again and will recomend to friends.

Cosy and quiet but Close to Centre

We stayed at this apartment in January this year. We found the apartment both cosy and spacious. It sits on an elevated position overlooking the town centre with a fantastic view from the lounge balcony.
Although it is set in a quiet location the town centre is a five minuet walk. It is also only five minuets to the new supermarket on the main road though Chamonix valley. (its also the cheapest supermarket!)
For anyone that hasn't been to Chamonix...... if you are a skier or boarder, every ski area is a bus ride away. The town bus stops right outside the apartment, we very quickly managed to use this to our advantage and eliminated any walking in ski boots!
All in all a great apartment, value for money and we will defineatly be returning next year.
