'Les Farfadets' - Morzine Modern Alp Style Design Chalet offering an outdoor hot tube and Wifi

This three stars four people one bedroom Chalet apartment is located in Morzine. We recommend a maximum of four people due to the size even though It can accommodate up to 2 parents and 3 children. The South/East facing apartment is situated at garden level and enjoys a garden terrace with a hot tub on demand. There is an outside private car park and a shuttle to Morzine centre / lifts (5 minutes’ drive).

Apartment specs:

- Kitchenette: dishwasher, oven, fridge;

- Lounge: TV/TNT, 140 cm sofa/bed, Internet;

- Bedroom: one 140 cm bed and two 90 cm beds;

- Bathroom: modern shower.

The newly refurbished apartment enjoys a friendly Alp style design. It is available to non-smoker and animals are not accepted.

Additional information about rental rates: A 30% deposit is required to book. The reservation is considered firm and definitive at reception of the signed contract.

Sheets and\or linen can be provided.

The accommodation must be cleaned by the end of the lease. A cleaning expense will be charged shall the tenant decide to hand back the premises uncleaned (the Tenant shall inform the Owner about his decision before the beginning of the stay).

The amount of the tourist tax is 1 € a day and a person (from 16 years).

When receiving the keys on arrival, the Tenant will pay the balance of the rent, as well as the tourist tax and a damage deposit and, if necessary, the required sheets and\or linen and cleaning expenses.

Check in from 4 pm on Saturday and check out until 10 am on Saturday.

Reduction on long stay.

Excellent chalet, exactly what we were looking for

We wanted a small, clean and tidy chalet for the week to take the family skiing without needing a mortgage to do so, and this was perfect. The owners were very easy to deal with and helpful right the way through. The chalet is a 5 minute walk from a bus stop with frequent buses, and the total time to the lifts was only 15 mins at most. The accommodation had everything we needed - it makes use of the available space really well. Would definitely recommend!

Joli appartement dans un joli alentours

Nous avons loué l’appartement pour sept jours et nous étions très contents. La propriétaire est très gentille et obligeante.

L’appartement est situé dans un alentours joli et calme. Il ne faut que deux minutes à pied pour rejoindre le bus qui amène les gens en dix minutes dans le domaine skiable.

Le deux-pièces est idéal pour deux personnes. L’aménagement est confortable et on se sent à l’aise. A notre arrivée l’appartement se trouvait en bon état (propre, entretenu, ordonné…). Il est vrai que la salle de bain est relativement petite, mais elle est équipée avec une grande douche et elle est assez grande pour deux personnes. La cuisine est aussi un peu petite, mais avec le bar à côté on a assez de place pour cuisinier. Il nous manquait seulement une petite table pour manger confortablement au lieu des tabourets de bar au bar. Mais probablement ce n’est pas possible à cause de manque de place.

Dans le jardin se trouve un jacuzzi ou on peut se relaxer tous les soirs après une journée fatigante sur la piste.

Nous avons beaucoup joui nos vacances à Morzine et nous louerions l’appartement de nouveau à tout moment !

Owner's Response: Merci beaucoup Nicola pour ces commentaires - et d'avoir pris le temps de les faire. Nous voulions juste préciser à l'attention d'éventuels futurs hotes qu'en dehors de l'appartement sont disponibles une table pour 4 personnes et deux bancs. On peut utiliser cette table dehors mais aussi la placer dans l'appartement devant le canapé (cf photo sur le site). Mais naturellement cela a l'inconvénient de réduire l'espace disponible dans un appartement qui n'est pas trés grand mais est noté 3 étoiles pour 4 personnes dans les meublés de tourisme. Nous vous remercions ancore d'avoir pris le temps de faire ces commentaires et nous réjouissons de vous revoir bientôt à Morzine. Bien cordialement Jean et Patricia

Ideal for family/group of 4

We were a party of 4 two adults and two children and this chalet was really nice. The owners Jean and his wife were there during part of our stay as they own the main chalet. They are both genuinely nice and helpful people and my poor French was complimented by Jean's perfect English!

There was a wonderful hot tub at the property which was the best remedy following a hard days skiing! We had access to this between 17:30 - 18:30, which was ideal. The kids really enjoyed this!

Their is one parking space at the property which with heavy snow was a little tight to get into but we managed fine and Jean knows of a couple of alternatives spaces should they be needed.

This is an ideal location as the bus stop was a short walk away, which was handy when you have to help the kids with their equipment! The U bus will take you to the centre of town where you have options to take the super Morzine bubble, change to an A bus to the Prodains cable car or carry on with the U bus to the Pleney!

It would probably have benefitted from having a small table or lap trays for the children to eat their food but for adults their were stools and a breakfast bar.

There was a really nice enclosed garden, which the kids could safely and thoroughly enjoy, especially with all the snow!

Excellent hook up to wifi at the property.

Quiet area. Ample secure storage for skis directly outside the entrance door and ski boots can be stored safely and warm inside the chalet.

Not that we were there to watch TV but if you like this you should be aware that their TV is a very small portable, with French programmes only. However, we didn't really see this as a negative and as can be seen from above we really enjoyed this accommodation and I would definitely use this accommodation again!

Lovely apartment with lovely owners!

We stayed for two weeks in January 2014 and have to say, this is a wonderfully lovely apartment, with very lovely owners. We had everything we needed for a great stay, including use of the hot tub which was wonderful for recovering after a day on the slopes. Situated very near to two bus stops, and only 20 mins walk to the village, it's also in a nice location, especially for families who might enjoy a quieter place to stay. Jean was very good at making us feel welcome and we would love to stay again!

Great accommodation for couple/small group/family

Really good apartment, warm, comfortable, in great condition and good kitchen. Apartment is clean and well resourced with plenty of space to store clothes/equipment and has good wireless internet connection . Excellent shower and hot tub which is great after a long day on the snow. 2 bus stops near by so always easy to get the free busses to the lifts or into town. The owner was very helpful from booking to arrival and departure. Would recommend to friends or family and would stay again if i am back in Morzine.

Situated mid-way between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva, Morzine is stunning for Alpine scenery, nestled between forests and summits. Here life is leisurely, and the village has lost nothing of its original charm and Savoyard way of life.

Ideally placed right in the middle of the Portes du Soleil, Morzine is the gateway to a marvellous winter playground of 650 km of ski-slopes. In summer, these slopes become sign-posted footpaths for trekking and MTB. Not forgetting the miles of open spaces surrounding the ski-runs from where you can head off into the middle of nowhere…
