The Cart Lodge sleeps 10 plus 2 (s/bed), Stable Cottage sleeps 5 plus 2 (s/bed)

Both our cottages are converted redundant farm buildings.

The Cart Lodge sleeps a maximum of eleven - twelve guests in four bedrooms plus a sofa bed.

Downstairs family room features king size double bed plus single which pulls out to double bed with en suite wet room (shower).

Upstairs double bedroom with en suite shower.

Further two twin bedrooms

Sofa bed on the gallery lounge

Downstairs open plan lounge / kitchen / dining room.

The Cart Lodge has a large L shaped patio area surrounding two sides of the cottage.

Stable Cottage sleeps a maximum of seven in accommodation comprising king size double bed in the first bedroom with the option of a single bed as well. This room has an en-suite wet room (shower).

Second bedroom has two single bed and also has a wet room shower en suite.

The open plan lounge kitchen, dining, sitting room also has a double sofa bed where two additional guests could sleep.

Stable Cottage has a lovely grass garden and patio area with west facing views across the fields to the estuary. The sunsets from the garden are sensational.

Both cottages have central heating (no surcharge for use).

Both cottages have wood burners (logs provided for guests).

There is plenty of parking for cars.

There is secure storage for bicycles / wind surfers, etc.

The location is a bird watchers dream with regular sightings of Barn Owls, Little Owls, Sparrow Hawks, the once rare Marsh Harrier can regularly be seen gliding over the marshes. Recently a first ever sighting of the Pallid Harrier.

This was a great find for our family holiday which included 4 generations! It was the first time we had all been together for a long time and we couldn't have picked a better house or location. Thank you for welcoming us all into your lovely barn.

We look forward to returning next year to celebrate and to stoke up the wood burner once again!!!

Lee Wick Farm Holiday Cottages is located in the historic village of St. Osyth. St. Osyth dates back to the 9th Century and features the sensational St. Osyth Priory which dates from the 12th Century. St. Osyth is centred around the village crossroads. Lee Wick Farm is to the south west of the village down a quiet lane leading to the Colne Point Nature reserve (passes for admission are provided free of charge to visitors). Surrounding countryside offers much for walkers and cyclists. The nearby beaches at Clacton on Sea, Frinton on Sea and Walton on the Naze offer plenty for those seeking a summer time beach holiday. Historic Colchester (Britain's Oldest Recorded Town and first Roman Capital) is only 12 miles away. The sensational Norman Castle is built on the remains of the Roman temple. Colchester Zoo is considered by many to be one of the best in the UK. The Suffolk Heritage Countryside and Coastline is about an hours drive and offers more visitors. The university city of Cambridge is about an hour and a quarter drive away. London's Liverpool Street Station is only slightly more than an hour by train from either Clacton on Sea or Great Bentley station, a little under an hour from Colchester.

The cottages are situated in a partly redundant part of our working farm, alongside our livery yard in the midst of the paddocks. Fantastic views across open fields to the sea beyond are to be seen from the cottages.
