Set within a private close The Swallow is a stylish chalet bungalow situated in a great location with a short stroll through the dunes to the sandy beach and the village centre.
The Swallow has been completely refurbished in 2011 both inside and out, with no expense spared. The inside has been redesigned to provide spacious open plan accommodation. The newly fitted kitchen, dining and living room is immaculately finished to give a light and spacious living area. The new double glazed windows and doors, cladding, patio and flowerbeds all completed in Oct 2011 makes this chalet a delightfully place to stay for your family holiday.
Living Area: Completely refurbished in June 2011 the entrance porch opens into the open plan living area, with sitting room, dining area, and kitchen. The new oak laminated flooring and décor gives this area a light and airy feel.
Sitting area; a new large leather corner sofa comfortably seats six with wonderful views of ‘Baggy Point’ in the distance. There is also a wall mounted 32” colour TV with DVD player, Digital radio, ipod docking station and board games for your enjoyment.
Kitchen and dining area; Fully fitted kitchen with electric fan oven, ceramic hob, microwave, 4-slice toaster, fridge freezer and slim line dishwasher as well as all the crockery, cutlery and utensils you will need. A full size dining table seating six.
Bedroom, bathroom and utility: Bedrooms; 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6. One double room with a double bed, two bedside cabinets, reading lamps, triple wardrobe and electric heater. Two twin bedrooms each with two twin beds a bedside cabinet, reading lamps, double wardrobe and electric heater. All bedroom linen is included
Bathroom; electric shower cubical (no bath), WC, hand basin with electric water heater and electric heater. (Please bring your own towels)
Utility cupboard; washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing board
Exterior: The Swallow's is situated in its fully enclosed grounds making it a safe environment for all the family. Its established hedge gives privacy whilst being a sun-trap for those who enjoy lazing in the sun.
The rear garden is partly laid to lawns and has a large patio area with garden dinning table and chairs to enjoy.
Off road parking for two cars.
Many thanks for the holiday we have just had at The Swallow and for the excellent condition and cleanliness of the property. We have been staying at Leadengate Fields at various properties for approximately seven years, and this is the only property we have not had to clean and wash all the crockery etc on arrival. This certainly made all the difference to us and particularly as we do not usually arrive until 9/10pm.

Croyde Bay is a renowned premier surfing beach. The ‘Blue Flag Award’ winning sandy beach is fine and flat, manned by lifeguards throughout the summer months it is ideal for children and surfers alike. With rock pools in abundance and dunes it is a haven for young and intrepid explorers. This classic ‘chocolate-box’ village is steeped in old-world charm. Its character thatched pubs, quality restaurants, ice cream shop, and fudge shops are just a short stroll away.
Further choices of award winning beaches include Saunton Sands, Putsborough and Woolacombe Bay. Stretching inland is the vast swathe of dunes at Braunton Burrows, designated an area of outstanding natural diversity. National Trust owned coastal paths include the spectacular panoramic sea views at Baggy Point.
Attractions for the young include 'The Big Sheep' & 'Dinosaur World'.
There is a wide range of activities including; golf, horse riding, cycling, surfing and rock climbing.
