Les Roches is a recently renovated village house providing family-friendly holiday accommodation for up to 12 plus two infants. The gite is particularly well adapted to the needs of family groups including babies and toddlers.
The five bedrooms and four bathrooms are arranged over two floors. Living space is open plan and extends outside to a covered, decked, dining area.
The decoration and equipping of the gite is to a very high standard and provides the maximum in comfort and convenience for multi-generational groups.
Outside, the enclosed garden includes a large play area and a private, heated, swimming pool.
Les Roches is located on a quiet residential lane. The property backs onto farmlands, but is within easy walking distance of the village centre, which has a bar, grocery shop and a good bakery.
Living Space & Kitchen: At the heart of Les Roches is a large, open plan, living, dining & kitchen area. Light and airy, this space comfortably accommodates parties of 12.
The sitting room is arranged with three large sofas and additional window seating. The entertainment system here comprises TV (French and UK by satellite), DVD player and iPod docking station.
The neighbouring dining area seats 12 at a large, oak, table. Beyond that, the large, bright kitchen is fully equipped to help you make best use of the fine local produce, with an American fridge, induction hob and oven set into an island unit, plenty of pans, utensils & crockery, and a dining table for up to 6 - ideal for breakfast.
Sliding picture doors lead out to the decked patio with shaded outdoor dining table.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms: The five bedrooms are divided over the ground floor and first floor.
Downstairs there are three bedrooms: a king size (with en suite shower room), a triple room and a twin room that can alternatively be made up as a king size. The king size room includes a cot.
Also on the ground floor there is a large, family, bathroom.
Upstairs there are two further bedrooms. One is a family suite comprising king size bed (which can be split to two singles if desired), a single bed and a separate nursery with cot and change station. And en suite shower room completes the suite.
Also upstairs there is a double bedroom with en suite shower room.
All linen and towels are provided.
The Garden & Pool: The garden runs to 1500 square meters and is fully enclosed, with gates to shut off access to the quiet road if required.
The garden backs on to farmland at the rear.
The decked area reached from the kitchen has a shaded area with dining table seating 12, and beyond that there is a large paved area that includes a large sandpit and the swimming pool.
The pool itself is fenced for security, measures 9 by 4.5 meters and is heated by heat pump to a comfortable 28°C.
At the other side of the garden, across a lawn and a path shaded by vines is a play area, including swings, climbing frame, trampoline and other play equipment for children.
