There are many reasons to visit Paphos including beautiful scenery and a wonderful climate. Cypriots are friendly, helpful and hospitable people and once in Paphos it's easy to relax and slip into the Cypriot pace of life.
Whether you are seeking a relaxing holiday, a walking holiday or looking for an opportunity to visit beautiful or historical sites of interest, Paphos has something for everyone.
The apartment is in a quiet residential area just a 15 minute stroll to the centre of Paphos and its restaurants and cafes overlooking the picturesque traditional harbour. The old town is a 20 minute walk where the market and a large selection of tavernas and shops can be found. Alternatively there is a bus service which stops directly outside the complex.
Getting about- Local air-conditioned buses stop at Elysia Park every half hour, the number 603 will take you to the markets, tourist area, Coral Bay and Aphrodite's water park.
Taxis are available if required, as are hire cars, just don't forget your driving licence.
Things to do- Sight seeing- Archaeological sites, museums, Akamas nature reserve, Troodos mountains, Tomb of the kings, Aphrodite’s bath, Aphrodite's rock, UNESCO world heritage site, St Neofytos Monastery.
Sports and leisure- Crazy golf, boat trips, water sports, snorkelling, fishing, bowling, cycling, tennis, karting, paint-ball, horse riding, Jeep safari and mountain biking are all available.

Nature- Reptile parks, wine routes, nature reserves (turtles), bird park, Anarita Botanical Park

Family- Aphrodite Water Park, Paphos aquarium, Bird Park and Donkey farm
Clubs, bars and restaurants- Paphos has plenty of night-life with a choice of good live music, clubs and bars. There is a wide variety of restaurants including traditional tavernas serving Greek dishes, French, Chinese, Italian, Indian, Lebanese, Japanese, Russian, Mexican and others. Skiing and snowboarding- For those that enjoy skiing or snowboarding head to the Troodos Mountains between December and March. Lots of other activities can be enjoyed within the Troodos area including walking and mountain biking. (Bikes available to hire locally).
•Paphos Carnival: Visit March to enjoy this carnival.
•Akamas Festival: this features classical music concerts and is also held in March.
•Paphos Festival of Ancient Greek Drama: this festival which is held in July/ August lasts for around a month and is held at the magnificent Paphos Odeon.
•Summer Nights in Polis: July/ August also sees the arrival of a festival of traditional Greek dance, song, music and theatre performances.
•Paradise Jazz Festival: August/ September attracts a wide range of quality jazz musicians from across Europe.
•Paphos Aphrodite Festival: September brings the ancient and popular celebration to the magical setting of the Medieval Castle Square. If you are seeking traditional Greek and Cypriot dancing, singing and music, this is the place to be.
