Set in a peaceful location yet within 5 minutes walk from the train station, our newly built and much loved apartment is very well equipped with everything you would require for a relaxing holiday. Modern kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, double oven, fridge/freezer, fondue, etc. Lounge area with flat-screened TV with cable stations, DVD player and i-pod docking unit. Comfortable seating and dining area.
1 x twin/double bedroom, 1 x double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. 2 bathrooms. Sleeps 6-8 comfortably with an additional 1-2 people on the sofa bed if required. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and sink. Ski locker room at entrance.
Decking areas to the front and also to the rear of the property are equipped with wooden patio furniture, so that you can enjoy the views and relax to either morning or evening sun!

Lovely area of Switzerland famous for its outstanding beauty and nature. It is dominated by the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau which form a beautiful backdrop to the village of Wengen. Sitting on a sunny plateau above the stunning Lauterbrunnen valley, Wengen is a traffic-free village accessible only by the quaint mountain cog railway. During winter Wengen acts as a centre to the extensive skiing in the Jungrau Region with efficient and well-managed pistes. The Jungfrau ski-pass will also cover skiing in Murren on the opposite side of the valley and Grindlewald.
During Spring and Summer Wengen becomes a vast walking area; the beautiful views, wild flowers, extensive trails and fresh mountain air makes it a haven for mountain hiking. A huge range of walks offer varying degrees of difficulty for all standards of hikers. Mountain cafes will keep you topped up with refreshments.
If you wish to travel further afield, Interlaken, nestled between the two magnificent lakes, Thun and Berne are all worth a visit and are of great interest. A golf course is situated in Interlaken, and other activities available around the lake or int the Lauterbrunnen valley include paragliding, horseriding, mountain biking, sailing, white water rafting, kayaking, etc...
Wengen, although a small mountain village is well equipped with restaurants, shops, cinema, supermarkets, sports and fitness centres, health and beauty clinics, doctors clinic, summer open-air pool, etc. It contains all the mod-cons you would require without the village losing its charm and uniqueness. Once visited, you cannot help but fall in love with it!
Accessible by a car journey through either France or Germany, by train from the UK or by plane. Fly to either Berne, Basle, Geneva or Zurich and then enjoy the lovely train journey or hire a car at the airport. All modes of public transport in Switzerland run very efficiently and are stress-free making them an enjoyable part of your holiday.
