Mayston Mews are a pair of lovely mews town houses set in a small gated development (only 6 houses in total) offering extra security. Each house can accommodate up to 9 people so together they can house up to 18 people.

The houses are finished to a high standard with high quality furnishings throughout. There are 3 double bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Each house has a large through lounge which has 2 single sofa beds to sleep a further 2 people. There is a further single bed available in the master bedroom.

Mayston Mews Townhouses come fully equipped with all the mod cons you need in your holiday home: dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD player in lounge, further TV in master bedroom, gas hob, double oven , microwave and of course, wireless internet,

Outside, each house has a charming town garden. There is a free car parking space inside the gates offering you secure parking in case you bring your car. No parking permit required which is a bonus and a rarity in this part of town.

These are not your standard clinical holiday rentals - furnishings and art have been chosen with love and care so they feel like a home away from home.

Plenty of room and convenient for central London

“We came to London with a car for a week with our teenage son (18) and daughter (15) and wanted accommodation with secure parking, three bedrooms and some space for everyone to recover from the day/evening in London. This house had everything we expected and more: secure parking, enough space to relax, a kitchen with enough crockery and a dishwasher, quick bus/train/tube connections to central London, plenty of shops (or takeaways) within walking distance for provisions – a large Sainsburys just 10 minutes’ walk away. The photos and description are accurate and Raj (and her sister) are friendly, reliable, there if you need them, and helpful. We used the train or bus and tube to get in and out of central London and the connections from the house were ideal. We never had to walk more than the 50 m to the bus stop or train station and never had to wait longer than a few minutes for a connection. Booking, deposit, final payment and return of the security deposit all worked without a problem and efficiently. Thank you, Raj, for letting us stay at your house.”

Perfect base for London Holiday!

We have been to London several times with our family (3 children). This was our first time at Mayston Mews but won't be our last. I was a bit sceptical as it was quite cheap compared to our regular houses but wow - what a find! A lovely house, quite spacious by London standards. 3 bathrooms were perfect for our family. There was even secure parking for our car. We didn't need the car as it was so close to the station for trains to London. It was a really easy journey to get to the centre of town so the location was perfect. The house was clean and comfortable and a higher standard than we have had in the past (but about 30% cheaper). There was everything we needed for a weeks holiday.

The supermarket was very close and Greenwich was only a few minutes away. Greenwich is absolutely stunning and definitely worth spending a day there exploring and admiring the views. Raj was very charming and did her best to accommodate all our requests.

We all really loved it and can't wait to go back.

Spacious home on a great location

We had a great stay in your home. We were with 2 families, 4 adults and 2 children and we all had our own bedroom and bathroom, a great plus for us.

The house has everything you need and there is enough room for everybody.

The railway station and busstop are very close and you really are within minutes in the city center of London and in the same time in the city center of Greenwich. Great place for a good price.

Wonderful base for our holiday to London!

We chose this property as it appeared to meet all our needs - great layout with lots of bathrooms, nice area, good price and close to town. It exceeded all our expectations as we didn't expect much as the house was such a good price for London. It was a gem! House was large, cosy, comfortable and very clean.

It suited our group very well with enough space to spread out and have a bit of quiet time. 3 bathrooms were fantastic as we couldn't find anything else close to this price in London with 3 bathrooms.

Raj was very helpful - took her time checking us in and helping us with all our questions about the local area. She suggested we go for a swim in the Aquatic Center at the Olympic Park - WOW, WOW WOW. Cheap and absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend to any keen swimmers out there as it's a fantastic experience.

The location is really convenient for public transport - we used to jump on the train to town every day.

Overall definitely recommend if you are a travelling with family or friends and want a convenient base for visiting the great City.

Good base, value for money

This is a typical, relatively modern British house with a decent range of amenities. The kitchen is reasonably well-equipped and has everything 8 people (or possibly even more) would need to spend a week here. The table in the living room is big enough for 8, although given its size, things become slightly tight in the room. The house has three bathrooms, which is a great plus. The sofas in the living room can be used as beds, but they are not comfortable to sleep on.

The area is not the most romantic of places, but still perfectly fine. A big Sainsbury's and decent take-aways are found nearby. There's a heavy-traffic road close to the house, but you can hardly hear it from inside.

The house suffers from some of the well-known drawbacks of modern British building standards. First of all, it has the typical micro-climates on different levels: if you walk down the stairs to the ground floor, you can literally feel the temperature going down with every step you take. I suspect things will get *very* chilly downstairs when winter comes - unless the heating is on at full blast, of course. Secondly, you can basically hear every step anybody takes in the house. At the beginning, we were always trying to stop our children from madly jumping up and down in their room upstairs - until we realised that they were simply walking normally. I suspect the neighbours can hear most of it, too...

Finally, the washing machine is installed in such a way that the whole house (quite literally!) vibrates as soon as the spinning cycle starts - quite an impressive level of noise! ;-)

Internet access was reliable and reasonably fast. One minor disadvantage was that they seem to have very restrictive settings: various aspects of most people's daily Internet activities are blocked. I wanted to find a "Games Workshop" place for my son and couldn't (at first) because websites belonging to "gaming" are not allowed. The same applies to social networking sites (Facebook!!). I could understand if hardcore pornography was blocked - but why this level of restriction? The block can easily be circumvented by connecting to a VPN-service - but I still find it weird, and not everybody will have this option available.

On the whole, this was a very pleasant place and we would be happy to stay again. By London standards, it's very good value for money, and public transport connections to central London are fine. One minor point to consider for families with children: although children are free to tra

I'm sorry there were restricyions set up on the Wifi - this was not consciously set up so I will check with the provider and ask them to remove these restrictions. I have only asked for the usual child protection levels of internet security. Thank you for your comments on the sofas - I am looking into getting new sofa beds but it's always a challenge to find suitable sofa beds which are comfortable for both sleeping and sitting. Perfect trip to London

This was a perfect trip to London. The transfer from and to the airport was arranged by Raj and the driver was cool.

The house has all of the things that anybody wants to use for an trip to london.

We (2 adults and 5 children) has enough place to live and sleep there. The aareal before the house was secure, because there was a big gate.

You can find us in the heart of the newly appointed Royal Borough of Greenwich. This is one of a pair of houses located in the same development (only 1 house apart) so perfect for groups and large families. They are in a fabulous, convenient and secure location...adjacent to Westcombe Park rail station with frequent trains into London (13 minutes to London Bridge) and then a few minutes further takes you to Waterloo (London Eye and Tate Modern) and Charing Cross (for Trafalgar Square, Westminster, Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Buckingham Palace).

It's a 2 minute train ride or a 10 minute walk to historic Royal Greenwich Park - host to the Olympic Equestrian events and the modern Pentathalon. The Park houses Greenwich Royal Observatory, Meridian Line, Queens House and the Maritime Museum. A 20 minute walk brings you into the heart of Old Greenwich Village with it's fantastic art market and numerous historic sites. In particular the stunning Painted Hall and Chapel. Last, but no means least, Greenwich is home to the world famous Cutty Sark - the last tea clipper... This was relaunched in April 2012 after it was severely damaged by fire. From Greenwich, you can take the River Boat into town or the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) into the City.

A huge Sainsbury's superstore is a few minutes walk away. A 10 screen cinema can be found adjacent to the Sainsburys. Numerous restaurants, takeaways and shops can be found lining the main road into Greenwich town centre.

It is a short bus journey to North Greenwich underground station at the O2 arena (formerly known as the Millennium Dome), From here you can hop on the tube into London or even on to the River Bus. The Underground will take you directly to the London Eye, Tate Modern, Westminster, Madame Tussauds and Stratford - home to the Olympic Park. Again there are many restaurants located at the O2. The O2 arena is host to some of the Olympic events such as Gymnastics and Basketball semis and finals. The O2 has become the worlds largest Arena venue hosting music concerts and sporting events.

There is also a direct tube to Westfied Shopping Center - Europe's largest and newest urban Shopping Mall. This is located adjacent to the Olympic Stadium
