This apartment has wonderful sea and countryside views with large terrace areas on both levels, which are ideal for sunbathing. There is a selection of bars, restaurants and supermarkets within easy walking distance. This is a class above the usual rental accommodation.

Wide fairways, short rough and manicured greens, lots of bunkers and the usual “Spanish Style” water hazards, together with its considerable length, makes this course a good challenge for golfers of all standards.

Genial, relaxed staff, totally informal dress code, inexpensive green fees and buggy hire make this a must for enthusiasts.

Why not take your non-playing partner, he or she can drive the buggy and admire the villas skirting the course, while you spend a pleasant few hours hacking around.

Meandering Parkland course through pine forested woodland and occasionally affording sea views.

Flat course with wide fairways, lined by Spanish pines. Greens that hold and run true, rewarding for straight hitters, but not too punishing for the more wayward amongst us.

Like most Spanish courses water hazards play their part, spectacularly so at the par 3, seventh hole, where a solid tee shot is needed to carry what must be 150 meters of water on your way to the green.

Club house facilities are first class offering all the usual amenities and extras, with charming pleasant staff. Visitors are made welcome by the relaxed atmosphere which is so difficult to find in the U.K.

A great days golf on a Ballesteros designed course, which unlike the courses further up the coast on the Costa del Sol, didn’t break the bank.

THE BEST ACCOMMODATION IN ZAHARA - This is a luxury 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on 2 levels. It is situated on a communal complex with pool (Mid June to Mid September) and gardens. There are wonderful views from the front terraces out to sea, and from the top rear terrace over the countryside. You can actually lie in bed of a morning and watch the waves. The outside space is as big as the indoor space, so you will always be able to find a place to catch the sun. It has been fitted with all home comforts, hence there is no need to leave the apartment at all, for the duration of your holiday. High speed WIFI Internet, air-con and heating is an added benefit, also an ipod/iphone docking station. Restaurants, bars and supermarkets are all within easy walking distance and the beach is a short 2 minute walk through the gardens and pool area. The pool area also has a children’s pool and play area, along with 2 paddle tennis courts.

From 17th January until 13th March we stayed in this very comfortable apartment, in order to escape the winter of Holland. We had a lovely time here with periods of beautiful weather, where we particularly enjoyed the spacious terrace and the beach.

Now it is spring in Spain and soon in Holland. Time for us to leave with a cheerful heart, looking back on a wonderful stay. Julie and Steve thanks for everything and we wish you both all the best. Jan & Janneke from the Netherlands

Having spent many years travelling afar for our holiday destinations,we discovered Spain and decided it was the place for us especially the wonderful all year around climate of the Costa de la Luz.

Initially wanting a garden we realized it wasn't practical to manage from a distance so we picked our Penthouse. It is almost like a house set over 2 levels, with as much outside space as inside space and of course the wonderful views of the beach. Great location easy walk to beach and facilities so perfect for families and no parking or driving worries

Great Views and great beach 2 minutes walk, equipped with all the homecomforts and luxuries for you to enjoy this fantastic penthouse. Perfect location 2 minutes walk of the beach, you don't have to worry about driving and parking in the summer which can be difficult. Many bars and restaurants within an easy walk, plus a perfect quiet location even in the busy summer month of August, as it is a top level penthouse.

Great property in a quiet location, stunning views

My husband, our baby daughter and I spent just over a week at this apartment in Bahia de la Plata at the beginning of May, it was a fantastic spring break.
The apartment is walking distance from the beach and it has a communal pool (still closed when we visited) and playground.
The apartment is very well kept and nicely decorated. Kitchen is well equipped, with good quality appliances. It has comfortable beds and both bathrooms are new.
It features a very nice terrace with stunning views of the sea and the "almadraba".
Would highly recommend the town and apartment. We hardly had any problems but the owner was very dedicated and always at hand - she welcomed us when we arrived. Zahara de los Atunes is a fishermen's village which still keeps its authenticity and local flavour. It has large sandy beaches, and there are very good locally sourced restaurants in the small town. There are also beach bars/cafés along the coast. It's a good location from where to explore Cadiz by car as many other towns (Jerez, Tarifa, Vejer, Conil) are easy to reach (most of them within an hour's drive).

Late Autumn break

This is our third stay here and it was as good as ever. Julie and
Steve have really thought of everything in this superb apartment. It is a great place of an out of season break. We loved our walks on the beach and the peace and quiet. Good birdwatching and we walked into Sierra de la Plata for great views over the surrounding countryside and North Africa.

What a lovely place to stay! Very well-appointed and comfortable - lots of space, both indoor and outdoor. Breakfast, lunch, and sunsets on that wonderful terrace - all splendid! We enjoyed the books and the DVDs (we had three movie nights!) and we really appreciated the kind, thoughtful, and generous 'welcome basket'.
The beach is stunning and beautiful; the town was charming. Hoping to come back some day!

You just don't re-visit if you're not perfectly happy with a place, and this one just fits our own particular bill ENTIRELY. Spotlessly clean, more kit and equipment than first time around, and let's face it, it's all been said by us and many others - the best holiday rental pad ever.

Accessible from Jerez, Gibraltar, Seville and Malaga airports.
