I bought Villa Alexander as a holiday home for my own use, and also somewhere for me to meet up with my family and friends from the UK whilst living in Asia. Now I'm back living in Australia it is still a very much used and loved holiday home providing a welcoming escape from the Australian winter.
I love the Mediterranean area, the dry heat, warm nights and laid back atmosphere and Olu Deniz is just beautiful, with a great beach and so easy to get to from all of the UK.
It was one of the nicest villa's in the area with great potential due to the large plot size. It was part of a group of about 14 yellow and white villa's developed in a small valley.
The gardens and poolside are the largest in this small group of beautiful white & yellow painted villa's which is important as most of the time you want to be outside and around the pool area. There really is nothing better then lying by the pool drink in hand doing absolutely nothing. The villa and pool area is big enough that even at full capacity you are not cramped around the poolside or indoors. The pool is also kept well screened & private.
Lastly it is really well located for Olu Deniz, Hisaronu, the town of Fethiye and historic local sights but a little tucked away to be quiet and relaxing.
Location, the largest pool area & gardens in the development, the privacy & spaciousness without over-crowding and the high level that the villa is maintained to.
The white washed fireplace in the downstairs pool lounge turns those cooler evenings in early spring and late autumn & winter into a magical holiday of days around the pool tanning and cosy evenings in watching the fire… where's the fun or romance in sitting under the reverse air-con!
