Our home in Broadstairs can comfortably sleep up to 10 (plus 1 cot). We have completely restored this fine example of Victoria family living yet ensured modern needs are more than catered for. With the Blue Flag beach of Stones Bay just feet away it will be difficult to tear your little ones from the sand. Vikings Bay and the centre of Broadstairs is a 3 minute walk away offering shops, restaurants, the Bandstand and even a Punch & Judy show on the glorious sandy beach. The house is child friendly and offers play tables, toys and a secure, walled rear garden to keep everyone happy at all times. Three beautifully appointed king sized double rooms and luxurious open plan kitchen with large dining space and living rooms ensure adults are also able to relax. Whether you choose to spend time inside (or the weather dictates!), you will feel at home.

Lovely seaside retreat

We stayed in this lovely seaside house for a group weekend away. The house comfortably caters for 10 adults, however it is also very child friendly. The facilities are great, 2 large bathrooms, plenty of hot water and impeccably clean. Kitchen fully equiped with everything we needed to cook for a large group. Lovely large comfortable beds. We visited in winter and the house is very cosy and warm, aided also by the log fire! It is right by the seaside within a short walking distance to town. There are some lovely seaside walks nearby. We very much enjoyed our stay here, thank you!!

Lovely winter escape

Superb Holiday Home

Wow! That was our first impression of this beautifully restored holiday home by the sea. We were a family of 3 generations with 6 adults and 4 children, aged between 3 and 14 who spent a very happy few days in Broadstairs. The house is very well appointed and equipped to a high standard. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and there were some delightful welcoming touches. The house is very well suited to both adults and children - a balance not easily achieved. Being able to simply walk across the road to the beach was a delight and we were very impressed with Broadstairs - a traditional seaside town but not at all run-down. We were blessed with exceptional weather for late October. From age 3 to 68 we all fell in love with 2 Eastern Esplanade and Broadstairs and hope to return.

Fantastic house, fantastic location

Seven of us stayed in this spectactular house for a wintery weekend by the sea and it was wonderful. The house itself is fantastic - huge rooms (the pictures don't really do justice to how spacious the house is), all very smartly equipped and comfortable. We loved the wood burning furnace in the living room and the big comfy sofas and chairs. The kitchen and dining table are great, to the point that we ate in the house for most of the weekend. The views are beautiful, it literally looks onto the sea, and the location is very central, meaning you can walk to two beaches or to the main high street in Broadstairs within a few minutes. Can't think of a single negative thing to say about this house - it's great.

A happy return

Eleven of us, including three generations, returned with great pleasure for a second stay at this truly excellent seaside house. It is equipped with everything you might need and is positioned on the cliff top with constant sea views and easy access to an ideal beach for children.

I would unreservedly recommended this house for a very happy holiday visit.

Our home is on the seafront directly overlooking the Blue Flag sandy beach of Stones Bay and a 3 min walk from the centre of Broadstairs and Vikings Bay.

Golf: There are six, 18 hole courses within a 15 minute drive including the Royal St Georges at Sandwich, host to the 2011 open. Both St Augustines and the North Foreland courses are open to non-members. For younger golfers the Lilliputt Crazy Golf course is only a 10 minute walk away!

The house has a large front garden with sea views with a shower hose to clean sandy feet! The secure walled rear lawned garden enjoys the evening sun.
