We are a family with 2 daughters living in Geneva for mostly 10 years. We fall in love with Morzine atmosphere and location.

David purchased this apartment in 2010

This Village is amazing and not only during Holidays, you can benefit from endless ski day, kids are plenty of out of ski activities, the Village is beautiful, people are charming, forest walks are incredible, and restaurants are fabulous.

It worth it both winter and summer.

What makes this apartment unique

We had furnished this apartment for our family needs in order to spend entire week ends or holidays very far away from our 'real life'. You will feel like at home and be able to rest/enjoy/spend a beautiful time.

The direct mountains view is available from every room and from the living.

it is located in a quiet area, 5 min walk from the centre and the ski lift

Amazing flat. V well equiped. Great views!!!

Amazing flat!! The pictures give you some idea, but it is even better than it looks. The flat is fully equiped which means you can eat in if you prefer.
Beds are the most confortable that I've slept in when staying in the Alps.
The owner, David is very friendly and helpful.
Recommended for 4 people, 6 is a bit of a squeeze but really no problem.

Lovely comfortable apartment with fab views

The apartment was an excellent size for our family of 4. Rooms and accommodation were very comfortable and the views of the mountains during the day and Morzine by night were lovely. It's a quiet apartment and very comfortable to lounge about in. We didn't hear the neighbours at all. Overall we gave the rating at 4 stars as though our niggles were only minor they were important to us. The stated wifi worked for only one day and didn't get fixed. Very annoying when you have 2 kids who can be entertained by it and you fine pick apartments by such things. There's also no visitor information so you have to find out all the local amenities, shops, restaurants, bus times, ski area and recommendations yourself. There's a supermarket about 10 mins walk away but if you're like us without a car you'll be lugging it up a hill. There were no games as stated in the description and the itinary for the apartment was 4 pages of French so difficult to check off what was and wasn't there.

As I say these are minor niggles but when you've checked an apartment out for things that are important to you and they aren't there in my book that's not good.

The ski area is great and although we found getting to Avoriaz too busy for us (there was over an hours wait at the chair at NY) the Morzine / Le Gets area was more than enough for the family. We could of saved ourselves on ski passes by just skiing there.

Its a short walk to the lifts or you can walk up the hill to ski down a little blue run. The apartment is ski in but not ski out. If you want to go to Avoriaz you need to take a bus to the Super Morzine lift, The bus is often and regular before 9.00 but after that it can be a bit of a wait.

Morzine as a ski town is excellent. There's many bars, restaurants and shops. It's also not too pricey when you consider you are in the Alps!

I would recommend this apartment as a very nice place to stay but I personally wouldn't go back as I prefer ski in / ski out & the little things advertised to work such as the internet (sorry but it's important for family peace!)

Owner's Response: Thank you for this very helpfull review. It will help me to change thinks to make better holidays for my guest.
Concerning the Wi-Fi, it is plan to upgrade it to a broadband internet box as I have couple of issue with the actual one and because high bandwidth is now available on the building. I do agree that internet is part of the entertainment.
I definitely have to create a visitor information book with all my favorite spots in Morzine area, and couple information about the ski domain and access.
I will also precise that ski out needs to take the same way as the ski in or walk 700m by the road to access Pleney lift.
I ll also ask the real estate agency to translate direction to get to the apartment in English !
It is true that one of the supermarkets is 10m walks down “the hill” but as for me levels is part of the ski place charm …
I hope that have spent a good time.

Nice comfy apartment

Very nice apartment, bed extremely comfortable. The only issue for me was that I didn't realise it was on the 3rd floor with no lift, but this was only an issue as I had my 77 year old Mother in Law with me, it was fine for the rest of us.
The agent dealing with the rental was very helpful.

On owner page we can specify if there is a lift or not.
On guest page, if nothing is specified it means stairs. It shows lift only if there is one. It can not handle "no lift" option
I feel sorry about your mother in law.
By now i will notify the no lift to any inquirer.

great inviting apartment

all you could need for a ski break. its a very spacious apartment,. the photos dont do it justice, it was one of the biggest apartments we have stayed in in Morzine. a short stroll to the ESF ski school and the pleney lift. Ed's supermarket is just down the hill and has everything you could need.
It was spotlessly clean on arrival and also had all we needed for the final clean up too.
The view from the kitchen table is breathtaking.
i wouild reccommend this apartment to families and groups for a break in beautiful Morzine.
