The kitchens are small but well equipped with everything you need to prepare your own meals including a four burner stove, oven and fridge. The apartments benefit from all the hotel services should you want to call for such as room service, laundry service or eat out at the restaurant. Maid service is available from Monday through to Friday. The apartments offer independence and a lot more space for guests to relax and unwind. Kingstown - Kingstown is built in a grid, with the harbour to the left as you face out to sea and the cathedrals to your right. Bustling but never too busy Kingstown has great markets, a museum, covered walkways and stone arches that characterize the streets in the main shopping area. A fort sits high on the bluff above Kingstown, a majority of the buildings being built from rough local volcanic stone. The harbour area houses ferrys, occasional cruise ships and fishing boats. 19th century warehouses built using ballast from the boats that transported sugar, cotton and arrowroot to Europe can be found close to the harbour area. It is obvious here to see the European colonial history of the island.
