The location is idyllic and suits travellers who love space and far reaching views.The property sits in 1 acre of garden which is mainly grassed providing space for play or simply relaxing.

The beach at Barmston is usually very quiet and it is possible to walk to Fraisthorpe Brridlington Ulrome and Skipsea without interuption.The countryside is beautiful providing lovely inland walks if preferred.

Wildlife surrounds the property .

Golf: The area has several golf courses within a few miles, some of which have buggies for hire.

The green fees are realistic and views from most of them are spectacular.

Most of them have good dining facilities.

Myself hubby and our two children aged 11 and 12 had a "meet the meerkats" booked nearby and booked the lodge for a couple of nights. Barbara is a lovely person there if needed but never intrusive. The lodge is really lovely with everything that you need. We visited Bridlington and Hornsea and would have gone further afield if we had been staying for longer. It was nice to come back to our our "own place" after being out all day and it was just so comfortable. We all slept soundly. Many thanks and we will be back :-)

Peaceful, calm and satisfying escape!

We desperately needed a break and found a warm welcome for all our family-including the one with the crutches! Comfort and lovely decor inside, gorgeous views and plenty to visit outside. Just what the doctor ordered. Thanks.

A fabulous place to stay where you are made to feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble and the owner Barbara is on hand to assist with anything you need. The property is set in a great location approx 10 mins drive from Bridlington. We had a great week away the weather was fantastic and we explored further spending a day at both Whitby and Scarborough. There is a lovely walk from the property down to the beach and a local pub. We enjoyed the evenings out in the garden with a bbq watching the sun go down and a few glasses of wine.... in short this is exactly what we were looking for and we couldn't have wished for a nicer place to relax. Barbara and her family really made us feel very welcome and I have a feeling it won't be our last visit to Hamilton Lodge. The property is immaculate and it's ideal for either a young family (trampoline available) or elderly residents as it's all on one level with easy access for wheelchairs, my 92 year old gran didn't want to leave.

What a brilliant place. Had a wonderful time. Gorgeous house, lovely setting and all you need for a relaxing break. Two minutes from the beach and close to local beauty spots. Would fully recommend and will certainly stay again.
