3 bed, 2 bath, sleeps 6, on private complex with indoor & outdoor Pools & Spa

This beautiful 3 bed duplex town house with your own fast Wi Fi internet on a private gated resort. On the ground floor is the living / dining room with English & European satellite TV, Ground floor double bedroom with twin beds plus toilet & shower room, kitchen, laundry room.

The 1st floor has a master bedroom with patio doors leading to the balcony, twin bedroom & full Bathroom. Our home also has a large balcony on the 1st floor with seating for 6 & is ideal for alfresco dining & sun bathing. There is also a terrace downstairs with seating for 4. The property has satellite TV receiving English, Spanish & European TV channels

There are 2 outdoor Pools also an INDOOR SPA which includes HEATED POOL, SAUNA , JACUZZI , STEAM ROOM & GYM, there are also TENNIS COURTS & TABLE TENNIS, Massages of various types are also available in the Spa & details can be found on the notice board at the concierges office at the front gate. The SPA is available to rental clients only & is not open to the general public. , This facility is of great benefit if you are planning a winter break and is open every evening for us

FAMILY DAY TRIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!: O.K so its time for a day trip you have all spent enough time in the markets and suning yourselves so where to go ?. The 1st place i recommend is Fort Bravo its about an hour away but very easy to find as its marked on nearly all maps and is quite famous as this has been the location for a lot of spagetti westerns. Dress up for the day in old cowboy/girl outfits and have a blast get the photos taken and ride in the stage coaches or on horses.Watch the show that is acted out twice daily and have a great time especially exciting for the kids .

2nd place is Oasis theme park and zoo , its just 10 minutes past Fort Bravo and has its own western town including boot hill there is also a show twice daily along with other attractions . When you finish there go to the zoo which is very extensive and covers a huge area.You should be able to find both on the internet to check out opening times and prices. If you have never been to these parks before i highly recommend you try one or the other.

THE LOCAL AREA : There are to many towns and villages to mention all but the property itself is located between the small commercial town of Vera and the fishing village of Grrucha both of which are no more then 5 minutes away. Both towns offer the usual bars ,restaurants and shopping.One of the nicest places to visit for shopping or food is the town of Mojacar it is situated high up overlooking the entire area with a panoramic view of about 6 to 7 miles in all directions and a nightime vist is especially breathtaking.Other villages within 15 minutes drive include Bedar,Palomeras,Villicricos and Carboneras all of which have something to offer the curious tourist so take your pick.NOW WHAT ABOUT THE BEACH??Well its quite simple you can either walk for 8 minutes or drive for 5 to get to it.When your on it you have about 6 to7 kilometers to choose from ..Finally some areas are NATURIST areas i.e.FULLY NUDE i point this out for those of you who will be bringing children along

LA PAPERINA RESTAURANT: A new restaurant and bar has opened just 5 minutes walk from our property which offers a mix of English and Spanish foods .Opening hours are approx 10am to 12pm all week long . Sky t.v. is available to keep up to date with all your favourite soaps and football matches . Indoor and outdoor dining is catered for as you would expect when travelling to spain ,Those dining outside can enjoy a beautiful backdrop of a swimming pool with small waterfall which is lit up at night time perfect for those romantic evening meals .The restaurant is closed in January and February which is normal in off peak seasons.There will also be live music on certain nights of the week which will add to a great night out.

If the driver is not taking the night off there are numerous bars and restaurants within 5-10 minutes drive .Chinese,Spanish,Italian,Indian, and English to name but a few.

Al Andalus Thalassa is a newly built fantastic Resort complex with 2 outdoor pools, tennis courts, playgrounds and a thalassa spa. The spa has an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Just 5 minutes from the complex is the Parque Aquatica which is a must for all the family and afterwards a visit to the Chinese buffet is guaranteed to satisfy all appetites. Al Andalus Thalassa is just 10 minutes from the beautiful and romantic fishing town of Garuccha with its numerous restaurants, tapas bars, shops and miles of promenade. It's a must for all the family and a great way to unwind at the end of your day. Further down the coast (15) minutes is the mountain top village of Mojacar which commands a view of the entire region and is steeped in history and has also a few bargains for Mum.

Notes: The duplex is situated at the entrance to the complex with a private parking space just metres away. There are 2 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool and also a gym, Sauna, Steam Room and Jacuzzi . Golf clubs rental is available from our agents. The main entrance gate is remote controlled , and access is limited to those renting properties. The complex is maintained to a very high standard .There is a concierge at the entrance who is very helpful for any problems that arise or just for local information.The local supermarket provides a free delivery service for your groceries should you need it . Smoking is permitted on the balcony

Hemos estado en VERA una semana con nuestros tres hijos y lo hemos pasado fenomenal. La casa, mas grande y mas bonita de lo que se aprecia en las fotos. Con una excelente orientación Levante, que permite disfrutar de la tarde y cenas en la terraza superior. La urbanización, muy bonita, ideal para ir con niños ya que está cerrada. vigilada, bien cuidada y es muy grande. También merece la pena, si vais con niños, visitar el parque acuatico, bien cuidado y seguro. Esperamos repetir en breve.

We stayed here for the first two weeks in August 2011 and were delighted with this property! (Our party size was four adults and four children)
There was nothing that was lacking from the accomodation, the on-site facilities and the surrounding area (which was beautiful!).
The cleanliness of the villa was second to none and both the lady who met us at the villa to show us around and hand over the keys and the contact on site were extremely helpful with lots of useful knowledge of the surrounding area.
The beaches in the area were all spectacular and having a car for the full time of our stay was a must to ensure we visited as many of the surrounding resorts as possible.
The Almeria area is a holiday resort for the Spanish therefore very unspoilt and uncommercialised - if you enjoy lots of English pubs, bars and restaurants then this is not the place for you, however if you are visiting Spain for the culture, delicious food and wonderful weather then this area is a must.
This is the second time we have rented a villa from the owner (our first was in Florida) and we cannot recommend him highly enough!
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

Lovely Holiday Home in Quiet Setting

We recently stayed at this property for a week with our two little girls. On arrival, the Villa was nice and clean and contained all the amenities and facilities that were needed and more.

The agent and the gate keeper were both extremely helpful on our arrival and throughout our stay - they provided an array of local information which was very helpful. The complex was very secure and safe. Both indoor and outdoor pools were also very clean and well presented. The baby pools were ideal for our 15 month old who would have happily played there all day!

The surrounding area is very quiet and ideal for those looking for some peace and tranquilty away from the high rise buildings and a busy city. Given its location, we were pleased we had hired a car for our stay. This provided very useful for trips outs to sandy beaches which were a few miles away (the closest beaches were very pebbly and not ideal for building sandcastles which is what our 4 year old had her heart set on!) We also did trips to Garrucha, Vera, Mojoccar and other pretty towns nearby as well as a day in Almeria and a visit to Oaysis - all worthwhile.

All in all, a very nice stay. I would recommend this Villa to friends but would suggest lots of research before hand so you have an idea of what you would like to do and places to visit while on holiday. The only things that would have made this place even better would have been wifi access (was only available at the poolside) and having some non-spanish channels on the TV! :)

We realy enjoyed our stay in this home. Every thing we needed was there and the house was very clean & tidy.

As we were there during the winter months we really enjoyed the resort with the heated indoor pool with the gym, sauna, & steam room.

The gardens and fountains were excellant and we would strongly recommend this home and resort to our friends and family.

The food in the local restaurants was very good in particular we realy enjoyed La Peperina and Victors Bar
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
