We are surrounded by nature, where we can breathe fresh air, hiking, observing nature in all seasons of the year, and at the same time very close to the sea and the beaches of Malaga.

The farm is surrounded by a Mediterranean landscape represented by the Mount San Antón (protected by law landscape), and limits the North with the Natural Park of Malaga Mountains. At the same time, close to beaches, which favors the presence among us of the air from the sea.

We are far enough from the city to relax, but close enough to visit it; far enough network of railcars to be quiet, but without the need to invest time to get there, less than 10 minutes.

And besides, all this combined with the ability to do sports in the farm: swimming, tennis, ball games, hikes, bikes or playing in the garden.

We believe that this property has excellent conditions for holidays:

Rest and relaxation of the countryside. The sea and the beaches very close. At 10 minutes, the city center of Malaga with its restaurants and tapas bars, the road to Picasso, gardens, museums, monuments, shopping (Zara, Mango, Massimo Dutti...) and nightlife.

We are located in the center of the coastal strip of Andalusia and one can easily make visits to other Andalusian regions like Granada and the Alhambra (1.15 pm.), Cordoba Mosque and (1 , 30 h.) or Seville and the Giralda (2.30 pm.) ,. And pretty villages and natural sites of Malaga, such as Ronda, Frigiliana, Casares, Nerja ...

In addition, the benefits of the swimming pool, garden, tennis ... and air conditioning.

I stayed at Casa del Marinero and fell in love with the house and area instantly. It was better than I had expected: the view and the sense of peace and quiet is just wonderful. You are so high up that it is a real break from everything. The air is different, you can see the whole coastline and you can only hear birds. Yet it is easy to reach the town and the coast by car. The village near the house is little and quiet. We appreciated having use of pool and loved sitting out in the terrace in the evenings. The house is clean and well equipped. We didn't lack for anything and were very comfortable. It was a great stay and very easy to deal with owners. Thanks for an excellent trip!

Nightmare

This is a run down house - the door hardly opens and you cannot sit on the sofas in the lounge. The bedrooms and bathroom have 70's feel and the beds are old and far too soft. Picture in the internet are not showing reality - don't attempt to play tennis - you would run the risk of breaking your legs on that court. Choose a different place!!!

RELAXING, TO REPEAT.

The house was great. The lounge was cozy, with a fire for winter. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful, with good shade and views of the mountains. The house was clean, and the only noise was the birds. The house is in the middle of a large property. Juan Carlos and Mathilde grow mangoes and avocados. There is a good motorway near to visit to other places. We went in the spring, and the weather was so good for country walks around property. Relaxing, to repeat.

an enchanting rural setting

"We stayed with our children - 4 & 8 , and had a wonderful time. The photos cannot do justice to the space and panoramic views this accommodation offers. The care and attention to the gardens and flowers has the place a heady mix of colour and scent. We BBQ most evenings on the large terrace to the sound track of cockerels, donkeys and cow bells ( I think ) coming up from the valley below . The kids spent the days in and out of the pool (small pool was perfect for the 4 yr old) using the tennis court as football pitch / basket ball court etc and generally exploring ( lots of fruit trees in surrounding land ) - amazingly the usual pestering for trips to waterparks etc was absent , even they seemed to chill out to a slower pace. Within a few minutes drive down from the finca are supermarkets , shops , petrol station and a lively non tourist suburb. The beach is a couple blocks down from main street - with loads restaurants ( fish cooking outside on wood fires seems to be the thing ) , a few parks and a pleasant walk. We have been lucky enough to stay in quite a few lets over the years and this place does have that something extra to offer - an enchanting rural setting within a few minutes of town and beach."

Nous avons adoré !!!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires, Juan-Carlos et Matilde,
La maison est spacieuse, propre et bien entretenue, au calme. La grande terrasse offre une belle vue sur les collines alentours et le jardin. Nous avons bien profité de la piscine (surtout nos filles !)
La finca se situe à proximité du quartier El Palo, très animé le soir (où on peut déguster des espetos de sardinas), et proche du centre historique de Malaga.
Il y a 3 locations au total sur la propriété, mais elles sont bien séparées les unes des autres.
Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse.

Nous avons été très touchés par l'accueil chaleureux et la gentillesse des propriétaires qui sont toujours à l'écoute des locataires et qui n'hésitent pas a donner de leur temps pour nous informer de tout ce que nous pouvions découvrir aussi bien à Malaga que dans les autres grandes villes d'une manière très spontanée. La location est superbe, bien entretenue avec un environnement très fleuri, notre séjour a été très agréable et nous ne manquerons pas de donner cette adresse à des connaissances.

We are in the countryside, on a farm of mango, avocado and other fruit trees; our property is a quiet place from which nature lovers can hike through the countryside. You can relax by reading and sunning by the pool or on your patio, or in the beach (3 kms.)

We are also 7 kms. (15 minutes) from the historical and cultural center of the city of Malaga, the capital of Costa del Sol. Those who know souahitent Spanish culture, discover our history and its reflection in the Roman monuments, Arab, Renaissance, Baroque ... our museums (Picasso, Carmen Thyssen Malaga Car Museum, and other museums), traditions and Mediterranean cuisine; you can easily visit and taste different 'tapas' and typical dishes (churros, porra, seafood and fresh fish, paella ...), wonderful natural spaces and charming villages.

 

One of the main highways of Andalusia (A-7) is located 5 km 2. of the house. We can meet you, to assist you on arrival at the home, 245 off the A-7 motorway.

You can also easily make round-trip visits to a few places and beautiful villages of our region as Granada (1'15 h.), Cordoba (1'30 h.), Seville (2'30 h.) Ronda (1'30 m) Nerja (0'30 h.), Frigiliana (0:30 pm.), etc. We provide you with documentation of the area and the surroundings. We can advise you on the most interesting cultural and natural places for good deals.

In our house, vacationers can choose a stay in nature, or sharing the same house with the gastronomic attractions, and cultural needs of our capital. We are also very close to beautiful and interesting villages where the different peoples who have inhabited since prehistory, being given the current Andalusian character: prehistoric caves, architecture and urbanism Arabic, festivals employers Christian, and all its traditions.

Almost every month, whether in winter or summer, there is a nearby town that celebrates its traditional festivals: Malaga wine, pork, olive Aloreña, almond blossom and of course ... the August Fair in Malaga.

In late March or early April, our centennial Health Week full of spring smell of incense and rosemary color clothes of the Nazarenes, music bands that accompany the processions The thrones are marvels of art. You can see them through devotion or the lavish and rich silver and gold baroque relief that shows the Lord's Passion. But undoubtedly, from Malaga to mark the beginning of spring. By different parts of the city several processions walk at the same time. You can reserve seats in the official route to the historic center of Malaga, or get them to the path of each and see them at the right time.
