Very comfortably sleeps 6 (7 possilbe), pleasant neighborhood with shops nearby

This tastefully furnished luxury apartment features a master bedroom with a king sized bed and ensuite 3 piece bathroom and opens on the very large main balcony (30 sq m).

The 2nd bedroom shares the WC and 2 piece bathroom with a large shower stall. The 2nd & 3rd bedrooms access the 2nd balcony with west exposure . The fully equipped kitchen and large Salon/Dining rooms open on to the main south exposure balcony. Along with central air-conditioning the apartment includes electric shutters in all rooms. A charming large tree over hangs the west end of the main balcony enhancing its view of the mountains behind Cannes.

The 2nd balcony includes a view over the Jardin St. Nicolas and elegant period villas.

There is high-speed wireless internet access, free international telephone calling and a collection of DVD movies appropriate for children

The apartment shares the dual basin swimming pool.

Pool Access:

-The swimming pool can be directly accessed by means of a ground floor door. The pool area is equipped with lounge chairs

The apartment is located within a 10 minute walk of the beach on the Croisette and the Palais the du Festival / Congress making it idea for business and holiday/vacation

Walking to the Croisette:

-There are 2 well maintained subways 'Passerelles' under the train tracks.

When leaving the appartment just to the left and down rue Dacteur Calmet at rue Mimont

- turn right (west) to take you to the train station and then it's about 8 minutes walk to the Croisette

- turn left (east) to the Cannes Marche'...then it's about 8 minutes walk to the Croisette

An underground enclosed parking garage is included.

Driving to the Croisette:

On exiting the parking garage...follow rue Sergent Bobillot to rue Republique, turn right (south) and follow rue Republique crossing the Voie Rapid to rue Antibes, and then follow any south bound streets to the Croisette

This property is in a very good location within minutes from the Criosette. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and the maintenance. Very secure with parking which is a plus for this city. Overall we highly recommend this place.

I would highly recommend this property. It is centrally located, making it a short walk to the water as well as providing easy access to the motorway for day trips from Cannes. There is a grocery store in the same block and, for people like me with food allergy issues, a health food store within a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment itself is spacious with well-laid-out cooking, living/dining and sleeping areas as well as two balconies to enjoy the Cote d'Azur weather. The rooms were comfortably furnished, clean and well maintained. The property manager was on site during the days and very helpful in responding to questions and making sure everything was in order.

We found the apartment as described and felt immediately at home.
Clean and all amenities available. A well equiped Intermarché at a couple of hundred meters and a fresh bakery around the corner.
We were warmly welcomed.
Definitely a place to return to upon a following trip to Cannes.

Fabulous Apartment With Amazing Landlord

The apartment is large, spacious, with fabulous verandas, air conditioning, high speed internet, a washer, dishwasher, cable television, a stock of movies and about anything else you could want or need. It is exactly as pictured, and completely lived up to the "promises". It is decorated nicely, and was spotless. We were 10 minutes from the Palais and beach, and a block from a busy street with restaurants and other services. The owner was responsive to every question, request, and the few issues we had during our stay, and is incredibly friendly, patient, and generally wonderful. I would highly recommend both the apartment and owner to anyone, and we are pretty discerning (read as "picky") consumers!

A lovely place to stay

We had a brilliant week’s holiday at the end of August 2011. The apartment was really comfortable (air conditioned) and felt very secure. You needed your key for the two outside doors, and an elevator PIN code before arriving at the door of the apartment on the third floor.

The apartment was in a great location, away from the main hustle and bustle, yet only five minutes walk from the train station, which is very handy when visiting around the area (we didn’t have a car, though there’s a garage if you have one). The centre of Cannes, Palais des Festivals, and beaches were all close by just a few minutes beyond the station. We felt very safe walking around in the day and in the evening.

As a family, we prefer to self-cater and were delighted to find not only an Intermarché supermarket but also a Picard, a freezer supermarket with great quality food, both at the end of the road a minute or two away. There are also daily markets close by to buy fresh produce.

The apartment was spacious and very clean and well equipped, with a great entertainment centre (DVDs, a wide selection of TV channels and an iPod dock we used all the time). We had all of our meals on the balcony, which is a good size and a great place to relax. We made good use of the well-appointed swimming pool too. A big thank you to the very helpful and friendly owner, Mathias, for a hugely enjoyable stay. All in all, thoroughly recommended!
