6th floor self-catering apartment directly on a beautiful Mediterranean beach

Exquisite apartment in a small development situated at one of the narrowest parts of the La Manga strip, directly on a long, wide, sandy Mediterranean beach, with none of the dense crowds you will find further down the peninsula.

The apartment is on the 6th floor with breathtaking views over the Mar Menor, Europe’s largest lagoon and a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Furnished and decorated to a very high standard inside, including a 32” flat-screen LCD TV with UK 'Freesat' TV and Spanish free-to-air digital TV channels, iPhone/iPod dock, DVD player (which also plays Cd's, MP3 Cd's and DIVX video discs. We have also provided a 3.5mm jack for you to connect your iPod, or other MP3 player, to the TV speakers). The complex includes a well-equipped gym with a sauna, table tennis table, padel tennis court and swimming pool.

The apartment has broadband internet access with WiFi.

Perfect for a romantic getaway, watersports activity holiday, or just relaxing on a sandy beach.

Places of interests nearby: The Nature Reserve San Pedro del Pinatar Salt works and Sand Spots Regional Park is about 2000 acres of wild land, situated North of urbanized La Manga. The other Nature Reserve is unspoiled Calblanque (volcanic cliffs over isolated sand beaches) which is situated south of La Manga between La Manga Club and Cabo de Palos. Cabo de Palos, which is at the neck of La Manga strip, has many seafood restaurants and dive centres. The Sunday flea market, “Mercadillo de Cabo de Palos” takes place every Sunday morning along the year next to the old road Cabo de Palos-La Manga-Cartagena. In the Mercadillo you have fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers from the famous Murcia and Cartagena plantations and also clothing, shoes, gifts, etc. Prices are much better than the ones you find in the regular shops or supermarkets.

The ancient port town of Cartagena is the nearest major town, about 40 km away. It dates back to Roman times and boasts the ruins of a Roman theatre, archaeological museums plus a number of interesting examples of military and modernist exhibits and architecture. You can also take a ferry across the Mar Menor to the other side from Tomas Maestre marina and visit Santiago de la Ribera which is situated about 2km north of San Javier Airport. Access: Various budget airlines fly from UK airports to Murcia San Javier (MJV) airport.

Directly on the Mediterranean beach, the complex is on one of the thinnest points of the strip, with Mar Menor lagoon also within 50 metres. The calm, shallow lagoon is a great environment for children to enjoy the water. For the more adventurous, sailing, wind-surfing, scuba-diving, kite-surfing, water-skiing, wake-boarding, jet-ski and quad-bike rental are all nearby - mostly in the Tomas Maestre marina about 3km away, which also has excellent shops, bars and supermarkets. Some places only open for the summer, so please check availability if coming out of season. There is a very good restaurant - Escuela de Pieter - about 2 minutes walk away, and the Playa Chica beach bar is about 3 minutes walk. At the end of La Manga strip is the fishing village of Cabo de Palos, with great restaurants and dive centres, and a fun flea market on Sundays. Several superb golf courses, including the famous La Manga Club, are also near Cabo de Palos, plus horse-riding and go-kart racing facilities.

    €10 surcharge if the key is to be collected between 10pm and 8am Monday to Saturday, or anytime on Sunday.
  • Our managing agents offer an airport transfer service between the apartment and San Javier airport for €45 each way. However, although there is a regular bus service running up and down La Manga strip, the apartment is located in a quiet area and, unless you only want to relax on a quiet beach, we recommend hiring a car during your stay.

My Holiday Period in La Manga

Myself and my family we enjoyed very much our holidays in La Manga!
The apartment is very nice, very well equipped and the Spanish neighbors were very friendly.
The water temperature and the outside weather in this region is perfect to enjoy a calm beach period.
The Beach Access from the Apartment Building is great because we have straight access to the beach (sea side) or you just have to cross the street if you prefer the bay side.
It is a great place to spend holiday period with children.

The apartment is nice! It is well equipped and close to the beach.
The owner is very helpful. So we like our holidays in La Manga!
There are two thing that we dislike - the apartment is far form supermarkets and it`s was a nose form the tennis court in the evening till 11 p.m.

Hemos pasado una semana en este apartamento, del 17 al 23 de agosto y he de decir que es el mejor apartamento donde he estado, muy bien equipado, no falta detalle, bonito y con maravillosas vistas de las dos playas, las cuales se encuentran a metros del apartamento.
También he de decir que es una zona muy tranquila, sin muchas tiendas ni sitios para salir por alrededor pero tampoco se encuentran muy lejos, aunque si no solo se quiere tranquilidad es mejor disponer de coche para moverse por la manga. No obstante, nosotros no tenemos queja de nada, nos encantó todo y quizás repitamos!

Notre agréable séjour à La Manga

Nous avons passé 11 jours dans cet appartement bien équipé. Nous avons pu vivre de très près la victoire de l'Espagne en coupe du monde de football. C'était une belle ambiance.
Du 6ème étage, la vue est superbe même si ce n'est pas une vue de face. Nous avons bien profité du terrain de "paddle tennis" et du centre de fitness. La température de l'eau est extra du côté de la mer méditerrannée et parfaite du côté de La Manga Beach.
Nous avons été déçus par le fait que le jacuzzi est fermé en été alors que le titre de l'annonce indiquait appartement avec jacuzzi. Mais je viens de voir que ce titre a été changé.
La sympathie qui transparait des mails échangés avec Monsieur David Salgado est sans bornes.
Nous avons loué une voiture et nous avons pu ainsi visiter la région où il y a pas mal de beaux endroits qui valent la peine d'être vus.
En résumé nous recommendons cet appartement bien situé, bien équipé, très propre.
