This tranquil rustic cottage surrounded by Tenerife´s nature and vineyards boasts a secluded picturesque location on the outskirts of the rural wine producing village of Palo Blanco. The charming cottage full of character offers a unique setting for your rural holiday, built over a century ago with a spacious and cosy one level living area refurbished to include Internet access and satellite TV, a large open plan kitchen-dining room, comfortable lounge with fireplace and wood burner with spectacular sea and valley views. The cottage is ideal for couples wanting to escape or even for families up to five. There are two bedrooms, one large double and one single with plenty of cupboard space and a double sofa bed. Outside ,plenty of garden furniture, sun beds and BBQ - perfect for al fresco dining during the warmer months. The terrace leads into the cottage´s delightful rose garden with breathtaking views of the Orotava Valley and the Atlantic Ocean across to the island of La Palma. Definately a cottage with a difference , Ideal as a base for exploring the Island or for relaxing away from it all.

We choose this cottage for its quiet rural location and we were not disappointed. The cottage is very spacious and comfortable and quiet... we overslept every day! the garden is lovely with beautiful views. All exactly as described. It is ideally placed for exploring the north of the island.
Thank you Lesley for the warm welcome and your help with recommending restaurants which we really enjoyed!
If you are looking for a peaceful holiday away from it all this is the place.

It has been a great location to start all kind of activities on the island and to come back in the evening after a day full of impressions and adventures, to calm down and to close the day with a glass of your choice outside in the garden, admiring the sunset at the western limits of the Orotava valley. If you choose the north side of the island, the green side, the "right side" of Teneriffa, you know that you cannot spend all day in the sun. But you can be sure that you will have the opportunity to drink the morning coffee and the evening beer outside on the terrace. Great place, well equipped house, quiet surroundings, lovely and helpfull hosts! Thanks Lesley!

We had a very relaxing week here, made to feel at home by Lesley who,from the moment she met us gave us lots of helpful advice and could not have been more hospitable, being available whenever advice was needed. Do try the small local restaurants for the experience and price. I had not been to Tenerife before and am so glad that we came to the North first; much quieter and great for walking and relaxing. The bungalow has all you need and is private despite being close to the owner's house.

Three Months Of Heaven!

We first met the owner of this delightful retreat last winter in Los Gigantes where Lesley also has 8 beautiful apartments. So upon hearing about this rural retreat we booked a three month winter break immediately, knowing that it would be of an impecable standard. We were delighted with everything, the photos are very good but real life is truly breathtaking! In a mad world we found an oasis of calm, the previous guests comments are honest and acurate in a good way, the only negative...........one has to leave this lovely place and rejoin the real world at some point! In life we all meet very few people who are 100% genuine, kind, honest and caring, if you choose to stay at this retreat, you will become one of the lucky few! Book with complete certainty that what is decribed is what you will find, nothing is too much trouble, Lesley and her family are just such lovely people that you will have one of the best holidays of your life.

Nous avons passé de très agréables vacances dans cette grande maison, très chaleureuse et calme, avec un superbe jardin en terrasse. Nous avons tout particulièrement apprécié le confort de la maison, avec toutes les attentions de Lesley pour nous faciliter le séjour : boissons offertes à l'arrivée, jeux de société, glacière, peignoirs, cuisine très bien équipée, rien ne manquait! La décoration était également de qualité. La maison est aussi bien située pour découvrir les endroits les plus beaux de Tenerife : Le Teide, l'Anaga, la vallée de la Orotava etc..., tout en n'étant qu'à 1h en voiture de l'aéroport sud.
A recommander !
