CHARACTER COTTAGES IN SPAIN WITH POOL, SEA AND MOUNTAIN VIEWS

This is a great place for kids with around 500 trees to climb on our finca alone. We also have chickens that are a constant source of amusement and of course provide fresh eggs every day and our 3 lovely dogs just love children. The finca also has a multitude of places where you can feel completely alone and find that quiet moment to catch up on your favourite book or just enjoy some sunbathing.

We are close to beaches, mountains, the River Ebro, many vineyards, sites of historical interest, museums, and breathtaking scenery.

There is something in the region for everyone throughout the entire year. If you visit us in early February you will see the almond blossom in full bloom. The scent fills the entire countryside. Or you may like to visit in September and October when we harvest the almonds; take some home with you and see if you can save some for Christmas. Then again you may like to visit us between November and February when we harvest the olives. Collect some for yourself and we'll take you to an olive press so that you can see the olives being pressed and then take the oil home with you. Springtime is magical with the incredible array of wildflowers that grow everywhere. And of course summer is a great time to come and spend time in the fresh air and beautiful weather we have here. Whatever your reason for coming here it is a great base to explore some of the best parts of Spain.

Our holiday homes are as follows:

Manna House Casita: an ancient, self-contained stone-built casita (cottage) that has been beautifully restored. It has its own kitchen and living area, bedroom and bathroom. Sleeps up to 4. Cost per week ranges between €200 and €350.

Manna House Casa: a detached 4 bedroom house with lounge, kitchen, large patio and 100sqm roof terrace that gives stunning views of the Mediterranean and the mounains. Sleeps up to 8. Cost per week ranges from €490 to €750.

Manna House Lodge: a 5 bedroom house with its own kitchen/diner, terraces and huge BBQ area. Sleeps up to 12 and all bedrooms have their own en-suites. Cost per week ranges from €600 to €950.

We live in harmony with our surroundings and try to have as low an impact on the environment as possible. This includes careful use of water and electricity. We have our own bank of solar panels from which we draw energy from the sun and this provides full domestic supply to the homes. Our water comes from our own borehole and whilst it is relatively easy to draw it from the borehole, we do have to run a massive old diesel engine to power the pump. This is noisy, smelly and, being 50 years old, is not terribly efficient so we try and use this as little as possible.
