Living room includes: flat screen TVs, DVD players, leather sofas, oak flooring, central heating, etc. Very pleasant garden with barbeque and outdoor eating area. Both bath and shower facilities. Details for holiday cottage Croyde Cottage Farmhouse, 3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6, 2 Bathrooms, 1 Separate WC

This is a beautifully restored 17th Century Devon farmhouse that retains many original features including exposed beams, working fireplaces & inglenooks whilst having modern fixtures and fittings. There is a glorious eat in kitchen with granite worktops, range cooker (in the inglenook fireplace) dishwasher, two refrigerators, microwave, washing machine, tumble drier (in utility area) flat screen TV and a farmhouse table seating 10 people. The Living room has 3 leather sofas, wall mounted flat screen TV, DVD player and a working open fire. The master bedroom looks out over the rear garden with double bed and en-suite shower room with power shower. Bedroom 2 is a good size overlooking the rear garden with twin beds. Bedroom 3 is a good size overlooking the lane to the front with twin beds. The family bathroom has a bath and separate power shower. The private garden has garden furniture, BBQ and a small garden room to sit in. Private off road parking for 2 cars.

Our family stayed in Croyde Cottage for a long weekend in March, 2 adults and 4 children. The cottage was beautiful, very homely but spacious. Fantastic location, right in the heart of the village. We found the kitchen to be very well equipped, easy to cook a large family meal. The property was very clean and well maintained. We particularly enjoyed having a log fire! We have visited Croyde many, many times, and go there for relaxing weekends and proper "family" time which always includes walks on the beach, ice-creams and Sunday lunch at the pub! This is probably the best property we have stayed in, in Croyde, and we will definately be back!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: Croyde is a great place for a family holiday or weekend away. It has lovely beaches and country walks through beautiful National Trust countryside. All we have to do is provide comfortable and, we hope, stylish accommodation to give our guests a great getaway at any time of year!

LOOKING FOR THE WOW FACTOR

If you are looking for the most fab property in the most delightful setting, then these are the cottages for you. Set in the heart of the most idyllic village with the beach on your doorstep, and the most fantastic walks close by. After spending a day out to return to these georgous surroundings with wonderful gardens to sit outside and have a glass wine will make your holiday complete. We have just returned from our third visit to both the Farmhouse and the barn, and can't wait to return.

Amazing Honeymoon

My new wife and I spent a week in december at Croyde Cottage for our honeymoon.

Even though the weather was cold and wet the cottage more than made up for it. The kitchen had amazing facilities, and the dishwasher meant that we didn't have to do any washing up at all ! :)

Wonderfully decorated, and an open fire which soon warmed us up. There was a huge TV in front of the leather sofa's, wifi internet, so we never really had to leave the cottage (although we did).

We will be back soon!

Thank you so much for a memorable honeymoon!

New Year in Croyde Bay

We have had the privilege of staying in The Barn and The Farmhouse for New Year for two years running.

Both properties are of high standard. Both spacious modern clean and comfortable.

Downstairs everything has been thought of, the kitchen has everything you need and more, the living room has an open fire which was a winner for us, even books and cd's. Up to date television on the wall and internet access.

Upstairs is the same with clean, modern decor and high standard bathrooms, the beds are comfortable and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space.

We have enjoyed lots of holidays in Croyde and feel that this is our favorite accommodation, it is in the heart of a friendly village, the pubs are all nice (we like the Manor for a family meal) the beach is a pleasant walk away, lots of other walks to try (the walk to Putsborough Beach is lovely).

The parking is easy and convenient with nice gardens.

The listing description was very accurate and we feel very fortunate to have found such an ideal cottage. We have a young family, but would recommend the property to anyone and everyone who could appreciate the the cottage and it's surroundings.

The Granary

Really nice play to stay, having stayed in lots of places in croyde, I would say that the Granary and Croyde Cottage are two of the very best. Both were clean and really cosy. My other half didn't want to leave! The owners are great and easy to deal with. Would recommend it to anyone. The only problem is its not available on a weekend I would like in May!!!!
