The house is decorated to the highest standard and provides a comfortable and relaxing holiday in a contemporary and well equipped environment. Open plan lounge, dining room and conservatory make it an ideal place for friends/family gatherings. The kitchen offers all the excellent facilities one would expect and is open to the dining area. Linked to the kitchen is a good sized utility room and garden access. The secluded rear garden with its delightful summer house, sunny patio and garden furniture make it perfect for relaxing and alfresco dining. The property has good-sized bedrooms two of which have recently-installed en-suite facilities. The family bathroom is light, boasting new, high quality, sanitary ware.

Easy and ample parking and a pet-friendly atmosphere add to this charming house.

Fantastic, spacious home for a week

We arrived at the property excited to spend a week by the sea, there was a large group of us therefore we were very pleased with the amount of space and bathrooms this property had. All rooms were very clean and had a homely feel! We certainly all slept well over the course of the week.

We walked into Southwold a couple of times, perfect distance for a stroll. Thank you for leaving a guide as to restaurants to eat in, we certainly took this on board and enjoyed a number of great meals out.

If you are looking for a great place to stay, where there are things to do close by or alternatively you have the space and comfort to spend the evening in...this certainly ticks the boxes. Usually living in the hustle and bustle of London, myself and my partner plus our friends couldn't have asked for a better base for our relaxing week away.

Since your stay we have made the Captain's Room on the ground floor level even more accessible by replacing the existing bulky wardrobe with a built-in, walk-in wardrobe in one of the walls to increase the available floor area around the double bed.

Deceptively large, comfortable living space.

Firstly we must thank you for making Fallowfield so Christmassy, and the lovely unexpected surprise of the Hamper. Suffice to say we ate and drank our way through the lot last week!.
We had a wonderful time, the beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us.We enjoyed all the references to the sea, and all your lovely pictures David.
It must be great to have a bolt hole to go to given that you both have stressful jobs. Parties and entertaining friends must also be great fun as well.
Owner's Response: We are really pleased that you had a great Christmas at Fallowfield. Southwold is already a very special place, but especially so at Christmas. There is just so much going on. There is the switching on of the Town Illuminations by the Mayor, the traditional Christmas Market and live music at many venues in the the town and a fantastic atmosphere that makes even a grumpy Scrooge like me go all smiley and feel warm inside. Hope to see you all again in the not-too-distant future.

We thought the property was very well maintained and very well equipped, comfy beds, toasty warm and lots of space for two families to settle in. Thank you!

We also find it's a great place to unwind for a week or longer to explore the amazing attractions nearby, the quaint quirkyness of Southwold and indulge ourselves in the excellent local restaurants and inns, most within walking distance of the house. Now I want to be there and not thinking about work tomorrow!

Fallowfield is a lovely spacious, clean, well equipped property. I stayed with my friend and our 7 children and there was plenty of room for us all.

We enjoyed Southwold beach and the skateboard park, crabbing at Walberswick, eating out at a fine fish restaurant in Southwold and also the Maize maze (which was only a short drive from the property.

Great communication from the owner.

Delightful,4 bedroom detached family house near Southwold, Suffolk

This light and sunny, spacious house is located close to the famous town of Southwold, a gem on the East coast of England, in the heart of beautiful Suffolk.

'Fallowfield' in the peaceful village of Reydon is close to natural wetlands, a haven for birds and other wildlife. It is situated in a quiet road on the edge of the historic town of Southwold. It is well located for local walks, a well-stocked general store and the award-winning local brewery-owned restaurant, the Randolph Hotel.

The number of stars that you can see on a clear night from the back garden of Fallowfield is breathtaking! A budding astronomers dream!

Southwold with its wonderful Pier, lighthouse, quirky shops, Electric Palace cinema, art galleries, golf course, restaurants, colourful beach huts and soft golden sands is a pleasant stroll approximately 1 mile away.
