" We had a really lovely time staying at The Dairy which we felt was a perfect cottage with an excellent standard throughout. The weather was not a problem for us, changeable would describe it accurately! We haven't stayed on Anglesey before but were both very impressed with the coast, beaches, gardens and galleries that we could visit. We had many other places we would have liked to visit but we ran out of time! We are already looking forward to returning to both The Dairy and Anglesey. Thanks to you and Colin and Mary who were very welcoming letting us tour their lovely gardens."

A delightful cottage in a fabulous location

  • 5 of 5

Not being at all familiar will Anglesey, we weren't quite sure what to expect, but we were absolutely delighted with the property and location. The cottage has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It is with in easy reach of lots of excellent restaurants and beaches and of course not that far from some of the major tourist attractions in Wales such as Snowdon. We will definately be going back again.

hidden gem!

  • 5 of 5

As regular visitors to Anglesey this cottage is one of the nicest we have stayed in and we hope to return for another stay. It really is gorgeous. It's beautifully decorated and accessorizsed to a very high standard. A special mention to the bed in the master bedroom which is the comfiest we have slept in! Everything you need is provided, can't really think of anything we needed that wasn't there. There is plenty to do on Anglesey for all ages, even if it rains! If you don't want to do a lot of driving The Dairy has some nice walks on it's doorstep and is located close to the lovely town of Beaumaris which has some lovely shops, restaurants, cafes and of course the castle. It's also not far to some lovely walks along the menai straits. Finally, Mary and Colin seem lovely people and all communication prior and during our stay was excellent.

Wow!!! and Thank you

  • 5 of 5

We arrived at the cottage on a very wet and damp winter's night to a wonderful welcome by Mary and Colin, Colin had put on the heating so the cottage was so warm and cosy and we were greeted as we walked through the door to a beautiful decorated christmas tree, it was the perfect start to our christmas holiday!!, we had mentioned to Colin that we were bringing our elderly mum - so the warmth was just perfect!.

Nothing had been overlooked in the cottage, Mary had provided tea, coffee, milk, sugar, fresh eggs and 3 of the most beautiful mince pies ever tasted and a lovely bottle of Mulled wine was waiting for us to sample!!.

The whole of the cottage is immaculate, it's simply beautiful, the master bedroom having the most comfortable bed ever and the second bedroom just as perfect, the towels and bedding provided are of the highest quality, the shower room and w/c absolutely spotless, complete with soaps and hand lotion and tiled and decorated beautifully, everything has been looked into to provide the very best, we have had the most enjoyable stay ever in a rented cottage, the whole of the cottage is beautifully presented. The kitchen has everything you could need and want with double oven, hob, pots, pans, cutlery, microwave, toaster, washer dryer and dishwasher.

We had an excellent stay and had the very best of holidays, the Dairy being on one level has been wonderful for my 82 year old mum, with no stairs to climb - it was great for her too, the cottage is really an enjoyable place to stay for young and old - just simply lovely.

There is really nothing negative to say about our holiday at the Dairy ....... other than we would have loved to stay longer, as the electric gates closed behind us on the morning we left - we simply knew we would soon be coming back, it's just too special of a place not too. Thank you Mary and Colin for a truly beautiful stay, a wonderful holiday filled with happy memories from start to finish.

A dream holiday home!

  • 5 of 5

Wow! This is a truly stunning holiday home. Anyone staying here is in for a real treat! We have stayed in some beautiful cottages over the years, but this one has now gone straight to the top of our list. The attention to detail, and high quality of furnishings and decor is second to none, and it feels so luxurious. As soon as you walk in the door, it has a wonderful light and airy feel (and a lovely smell!) and you just can't wait to explore! Everything was provided; we could not have asked for more. Toilet roll, washing up liquid, handwash, a hair dryer, towels, and a even a dustbuster for getting rid of those breakfast table crumbs! Best quality bedding, cushions, throws, sofas, lamps and wall art......the list is endless, and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! The location is quiet and set well away from the road, with The Diary being in it's own grounds, and you have your own private drive/entrance through electric gates! There are the most breathtaking views across the Menai Strait to the Snowdonia mountains and a field of sheep! The nearest town of Beaumaris is only 5-10 minutes away by car and has a castle, a pier and lots of fantastic pubs, shops and cafes. You must sample the amazing array of delicious flavours at the Red Boat Ice Cream Parlour, and we had a lovely meal one evening at the Pier House bistro. The owners Colin & Mary (and their gorgeous dogs) were so welcoming and friendly. You also have access to their stunning gardens (featured in the Telegraph!), and we spent many relaxing evenings enjoying the last of the sunshine and smelling the roses! Our two young daughters had so much space to run around and play and they loved it too! A good range of local interest books about Anglesey and Snowdonia are provided, as well as maps and leaflets. We have really fallen in love with The Dairy and this beautiful part of the world, and would not hesitate to return! Whole heartedly recommended. You will not be disappointed! Only one little suggestion - a lock on the toilet door would be a good idea! But apart from that - it was perfect, and we had a fantastic holiday. Huge thanks to Colin & Mary for their hospitality and allowing us to share their wonderful home.

A Little Bit of Perfection

  • 5 of 5

There is simply nothing negative to say about The Dairy. It's gorgeous in every sense and the owners have thought about every little thing that you may need. The bed in the Master Bedroom was comfy with the warmest duvet in the world on it. The shower was great and the kitchen adorable. Our week was a rainy one but we still went out everyday and did something.

The Dairy is in a great position to get to everywhere really and the back roads into Beaumaris get you there in under 5 minutes - truly!! I would stay at The Dairy again in heartbeat and would say it is perfect for a family of 4 or a group of friends. Treat it Like your own - it's too precious not to!! Samantha Sweet

Fantastic holiday cottage

  • 5 of 5

The Dairy is a lovely converted barn which has been furnished to a very high standard. It is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in - and we have stayed in a lot as we do this twice a year with our dog! The courtyard is completely safe for dogs, and there are lovely walks straight outside the door, which is always a bonus. The Dairy is in a very peaceful location just outside Menai Bridge, with fabulous views of Snowdonia from the garden. Colin and Mary are lovely people and they made us feel very welcome. As we seem to migrate to West Wales every year, we will definitely make a few return visits. There are several good restaurents within easy reach. We would happily recommend this cottage to anyone.
