Early Summer Holiday
We enjoyed our stay at the house, as a family of 6 adults we had everything we needed and plenty of space for us all without feeling crowded. It’s a very pleasant country house and ideally located in the area.

Gorgeous house, wonderful location, perfect hosts
We stayed at Eckford House for 10 days and had the most wonderful time. We arrived to a warm house with a roaring fire, a bottle of Baileys and a box of biscuits on the table, fresh eggs in the fridge and gorgeous toiletries in our rooms. The house itself is spacious yet cosy. The views are spectacular, we never tired of them. Our days were spent exploring the local area and our evenings were spent in the hot tub, playing games and stargazing. Just perfect! Sandy and Roisin were great hosts, totally unobtrusive yet available whenever we needed anything. We really didn’t want to leave. We recommend this property highly (whilst secretly wishing we could keep it to ourselves so that we could return whenever we wanted!) Thank you for everything, we had the most perfect Christmas and New Year break,
