We stayed here as a family of 4 plus a baby (from London). We are all experiences travellers and enjoyed our peaceful 2 week stay here. The price was excellent and the people very friendly although it is very secluded. There is no way of getting around, even to the shop without a car (you also need to take your rubbish to the bins in the street ), which we did not realise until our stay. So a car is a must. When we arrived the owner was very helpful and the villa was very clean and spacious, although not very well equipped so we felt like we had to ask for everything, inc sheets and towels etc... the villa didnt have any bedding, just a sheet and the utensils were very minimal, however, if you needed anything the owner would be more than happy to bring it over. We just didnt like to keep asking so we made do alot of the time. The pool was lovely, and very relaxing and peaceful. It closed for siesta at 1-3.30pm. The grounds were kept well and were very quiet and safe. The beach was a 10 min walk but was not very nice as it had lots of litter which was very disappointing to see, however, we travelled to the Cefalu most days, where the beaches were very nice.
Owner's Response: Gentile cliente la ringrazio per la recenzione.I vostri commenti sono uno strumento eccellente per tenerci allerta su qualsivoglia inconveniente e per aiutarci a risolverlo.La zona dove e ubicato il recidence ha conosciuto un notevole sviluppo turistico negli ultimi anni.In poco tempo infatti,sono sorti numerose strutture ricettive come case vacanze,bar, discoteche,ristoranti,supermercati,e centri commerciali il tutto ad aappena 2 km.Inoltre la vocazione turistica di questo piccolo comune Siciliano si è tradotta con una particolare attenzione allo svago e al divertimento con festival musicali,sagre enogastronomiche,concerti di artisti internazionali,cabaret e sfilate di moda.pertanto adatta al turismo di tutte le fasce di età.(Ovviamente nel periodo della vostra vacanza settembre inoltrato già bassa stagione, è ovvio che ci sono poche persone ma non isolata.) Le villette sono nuovissime ultimate a giugno 2012 ed attrezzate di tutto, sicuramente una nostra svista non controllare bene nella partenza dei clienti precedenti, oggi risolto.Per quanto riguarda la spazzatura, nel periodo della vostra vacanza, il comune iniziava la raccolta differenziata e di conseguenza aveta tolto i bidoni,ma oggi è tutto risolto.Io risiedo al recidence, e cerco di rendere il più possibile piacevole la vostra vacanza e di risolvere i problemi se ci sono.Per quando riguarda gli orari della piscina penso siano idonei per tutti anche per chi vuole riposare dalle ore 9,30 alle 13,00 e dalle 15,30 alle 19,30.Infine per quanto riguarda la spiaggia privata, grande e di sabbia fine, il comune provvede per la pulizia ogni 15 g.g.Nonostante ciò provvedo, anch'io sopratutto quando capitano delle mareggiate come è successo durante il vostro soggiorno.
mai nessuno si è lamentato anzi abbiamo ricevuto esclusivamente complimenti sia per la pulizie sia per il contesto tutto.
