We bought this property because of the location to the beach and also proximity to Portugal as well as Spain. We always wanted somewhere for all of our family to enjoy holidays. We have 3 children and now 2 grandchildren and we just love to all meet up there when we can. The views really do have to be seen to be believed. Traditional Spanish Town Ayamonte with wonderful fresh and local produce.

What makes this apartment unique

The lovely Spanish lifestyle and traditional family values.

The huge terrace with hot tub is sheer luxury and the al fresco lifestyle we adopt when we arrive is unique

The beach on our doorstep. Great little beach bars and restaurants.

Just a quick note to say that we had a fantastic time at your penthouse last week and absolutely loved the area and the property. Nothing quite prepares you for the views from that amazing terrace. We had some amazing evenings as a family up there having dinner as well as following your recommendations on local restaurants. We particularly liked Chiringuito III in Punta Moral as well as the ‘all white’ beach bar nearest to Playa Verde.



One week was not enough and we will very probably be in touch soon about another booking.

Perfect Home in wonderful sourrdings

This was the best holiday appartment we ever stayed in. It is well maintained. The jacuzzi and the outdoor kitchen are just fun. When we arrived we could not believe that this is true.

The huge terrace with its various seating areas is so inviting that we had difficulties to get our teenagers to the beach or on a sightseeing daytrip.

The nearby beach is perfect and so large that it is never too crowed, even on a high season weekend.

If accommodation matters to you, this is the perfect place to stay.

Huge outdoor space with fantastic views

If you are after lots of outdoor space with great seaviews, and watch flamingos, whilst enjoying a BBQ and Jacuzzi and Fire Pit, this is the place to be.

You can get as much sun as you want all day, and also shade via the pergola.

There is also indoors, 3 good sized bedrooms and a great heated outdoor space and log fire if you are going off peak.

The apartment also has access to a very large pool.

If I needed any assistance Jan was always on hand.

Canela is a great place to relax and do lots of walking eating and the odd glass of sangria or several. Bar Atlantic at the other end of Canela is great and cheap for Tapas. Punta de Mural for fish with the locals. Sunrise on the beach always get a good shout and understandbly so.

Wonderful holidays

We spent very wonderful holidays with our friends in this super penthouse. The interieur was as well as the great terrace. We could see the atlantic sea,and the natural park from this point. Wheather was great in the time when we stayed there.
The property was clean and had all, what we need to make our stay there greatful. If we had questions we contact the manager and he could help us. Very good was the Wi-fi there, so we could contact the owner too by email.

In the near there are some little bars and restaurants. We could recommend the "Sea soul", a beach club of the Ibero Hotel. It lies on the way to the beach and it's lovely to take a drink there and hearing good bar music. For eating we can recommend the Sonrise Beach Club, also at the beach with good fish meals..The top restaurants were on the left side of the little harbour of Punta del Moral, all spanish owner with so fresh fish, directly from the boats!
It's also good to make a trip to Faro in Portugal.

Of course, we have recommend this property to other friends and our parents and they are as excited as we and want to try holidays also there.

We ourselves would come back sure again.Great holidays!

On the Spanish Algarve, close to excellent golf courses. Within reach of Portugese Algarve and Seville. Great base to explore the southern coast of both Spain and Portugal together with magnificent accomodation set in the peaceful beauty of Isla Canela. A special experience.

Golf: Some superb golf courses are found in the immediate area. The penthouse is some twenty minutes from the new prestigious Jack Nicklaus signature golf and country club at Monte Rei. The club is being marketed as one of the finest international golf courses in Europe. Close by is another superb golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros, at Quinta de Vale. The course opens to the public in October 2007 and is a stunning course. The island of Isla Canela has its own golf course, its an ideal course to start your holiday and a challenge to golfers at all levels.
