100 % of people on TRIP ADVISOR have said they would stay again ! The Balcony gives a side River Thames view, so you can watch the boats sailing by in the evening after perhaps some serious shopping - or a walk along the stunning famous South Bank River Path. The view directly in front of the balcony is Europe's tallest building called 'The Shard'. Outside space is a rare luxury in London especially with a river view and iconic view! The River Path starts at your Front Door ! This leads to most things that will probably be on your list ! The River is very long so make sure you are staying at the central part of it...always check the Google map! As you can see from the photograph, the River path leads all the way to The London Eye. Situated on the River Path are: The Shakespeare's Globe, The Tate (free entry) St Paul's Cathedral, The Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Cross over the bridge and you are on Charing Cross Road and into 'The West End'

The studio is 441 Square Foot or 41 Square Metres.

Immaculate throughout (read our reviews) and also modernly decorated. FREE INTERNATIONAL CALLS and LOCAL and UK Calls! Of course, we have unlimited Wi Fi, which is not a luxury, it is a necessity! An i pod/mp3 docking system and i player with thousand of tunes.

There are four ways to make coffee is you are a big coffee fan like me! The best in my opinion is the gorgeous Italian De Longhi

Expresso/Capuccino Maker then there is a stove de longi Expresso maker and a caffetiere plus normal instant with the kettle. a full tin of Illy Coffee, fresh milk (coffee mate powder0 sugar and sweetners and coissants will be waiting for you.

if you require extra shopping because your flight arrives late, you can let me know and I will make sure it is there for you and we can add this onto the cost.

The bathroom is modern with a lovely warm heated towel rail bath and combined shower.

Hot water is available 24 hours.

Although you can call almost any Country and anywhere in the UK from the telephone, I have also provided a cell phone/mobile phone for your use outside the apartment, so that you will not be charged International Roaming Fees on your own cell phone/mobile phone.

You can top it up at any supermarket or newsagent and many stores and garages.

  • The Bathroom has a combined bath and shower, with three settings, normal, massage and power shower, with glass screen. We have a shaving adapter and a glass cabinet containing sewing kit, shoe polishing kit, fully stocked first aid kit. Hand soap, and 100% fluffy towels are also provided, plus a face towel and tissues. The heated towel rail comes on during the morning and also the evening. Air Freshners are provided aerosol and batrery operated.

This was my first time on the south riverside, the flat is part of a modern building almost facing the Thames, the area is a residential one, thus really quite, but only 5' far from the nearest tube station and bus stop. In 1' you can walk on the Thames path and easily reach shops, restaurants and bar. The flat is extremely well-kept, very clean and really well-equipped. This is not the first time I rent a vacation flat, but Karen has been the first one providing coffee, milk and croissants for the first breakfast, and I assure that you will appreciate this a lot after a long travel.
Further, there were other little touches left in the flat, like umbrellas, free phone calls, mobile, etc.
I would recommend this location to everybody, couples, families or friends, Karen with her flat knows how to welcome you, professionally and warmly, better than any hotel or rental agency.

Wonderful in every way

From our initial email enquiry we had prompt and professional communication from Karen, the owner, then a wonderful warm welcome to the studio. The milk and croissants and information on where to eat/ get a takeaway was appreciated by two weary travelers. Perfect for two people, workable with four if you are happy to sleep in the same room, the studio was spotlessly clean, quiet, amazingly well equipped and furnished with some quirky London touches that we loved. Exactly as shown in all the pictures we'd looked at.
The location is fantastic. On a warm day the balcony with a view of the river would be well used. We loved the walk to London Bridge tube station as it meant we could walk the short distance to Tower Bridge, through Shad Thames and along the river. Bermondsey tube station is not as picturesque a walk but is much closer, less than 5 minutes around the corner.
We have no hesitation in remcommending the studio - we already have.

Location, Location, Location!

Stayed four nights in this lovely apartment just down from Tower Bridge. Very modern, comfortable and well appointed flat, 100% secure with many extras such as internet and ipod dock, greatly appreciated by our teenager. The outside balcony with fantastic views of the Shard and boats on the Thames was a welcome bonus on our weary return from a full day of sightseeing. Shad Thames was a new area of London for us, but it's hard to beat for its peace and quiet and choice of restaurants on your doorstep. Breathtaking walks along the Jubilee walkway lead you to many London landmarks and its under 10 mins walk to nearest underground and river boat connections.

The apartment is well managed and the many photos on the website are a true representation of how perfect it is. Karen, the owner, and her assistant Alex were a pleasure to deal with and were extremely helpful with check-in and our luggage. Karen also kept in touch during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed.

Next time, experience London from this wonderful apartment and you won't regret it!

The "Tower Bridge Studio" was a perfect base for our week in London. The flat was spotless and perfectly equipped, even with great little personal touches (cell phone, oyster cards to recharge, and fresh coffee/espresso machine that made our week!) The bed is really comfy, the appliances are all in great order and have clear instructions with them – everything was just fabulous really. But not only is it a gorgeously appointed and spacious studio, the location is unbeatable. It is in a quiet spot but in walking distance into Southbank and all of the major attractions along the river. (And we never for a second felt unsafe walking around at night.) You won't need it if it doesn't rain, but the tube and about 5 bus routes are only a 5 minute walk too. Karen was also fabulous. Well before we even arrived she was very clear, 100% reliable, really helpful and always prompt in her communications with us. When we arrived she ensured we were met at the flat, had all the info we needed and went above-and-beyond to help us out with the one question we did have during our stay. We would recommend this place to our friends and family in a flash, so long as we weren't planning to be in London at the same time we wanted to be there! You will love every second of your stay here and we plan to come back.

Tower Bridge Studio is a true gem. I have visited London many times staying at hotels. This time I decided that I would try renting an apartment and becoming a temporary resident of London. This apartment met my needs and then some. The pictures that are posted are true and accurate representations of the property which pleased me no end because I don't like surprises in the place that I am going to stay while on holiday. The Bermondsey area was new to me but I found it to be quiet, safe, and extremely interesting. The Thames Path which is literally right out the front door provided wonderful views of Tower Bridge and many restaurant choices along its way. While walking the Thames Path I felt like I had stepped into a Dickens novel.
I was met with a huge smile and kind words by the owner on my arrival. She allowed me early access to leave my suitcase while she and a mate cleaned the apartment. It was immaculate and I had more than enough room. The pull-down "Murphy" bed was comfortable and a very good choice for the apartment. I can't say enough good about this apartment! It was a value compared to hotel prices at this time and you had the freedom of having your own place on the Thames for a brief period of time!
I highly recommend this property as the owner was extremely easy to work with, answering any questions I had promptly and honestly. I just hope that this gem is available when I want to come back to London!
