Two Bedroom Apartment - Sleeps 6/8

Two bed apartment situated on the first floor, which sleeps 6/8 (double bed, bunk bed and two sofa beds in the front room). Excellent apartment for a family or friends, at an affordable price. Ideal for a city break or corporate booking, without having to pay city prices. Situated in a quiet location, but within easy reach of local amenities.Overground station is 5 mins walk. 10 min train journey to Stratford train station and the Olympic site, and a 20 min train journey to Liverpool Street. Travel time from the apartment to St Pancras International, and the Eurostar to Europe is approximately 40 min. Public transport is accessible and flexible with a night bus from Trafalgar Square to within a 5 min walk of the apartment. Easy access to museums, theatres, The London Eye, The London Aquarium, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London, London Zoo and many more London attractions. A free parking space is attached to the apartment.

Olympics: The apartment is approximately a 10 min train journey from Stratford train station, and accessible to all the Olympic venues.

London Attractions: Liverpool Street Train Station is a 20 min train journey, which will give you access to all major train lines. Stratford Train station is 10 min away with access to the Docklands Light Railway, which provides easy access to the Tower of London, Greenwich Park and the Maritime Museum, The Cutty Sark and river boat sightseeing cruise to Westminster and other major London attractions. There is also a night bus which runs from central London to within 5 min walk of the apartment.

Eurostar: St Pancras international train station is approximately 40 min away by train.

“We stayed here in August, there were four of us. The accommodation was clean, bright and very comfortable.



The owner was very helpful and we were met immediately on arrival by the owner's brother and sister in law, there was no waiting around to get the keys. All the facilities were as described, we would definitely recommend to friends.



The flat is perfectly located for a day trips to London as the train station is about 5 minutes’ walk away.”

It was a pleasant stay

When we arrived at the apartment we got a pleasant welcome. The people that rented us the apartment were very friendly and enthousiastic. They showed us the apartment, explained about the trains and even brought some food for us.
The apartment itself looked very clean and all necessary facilities were there.
We would recommend it to others as well.

Great stay, definitely worth the money

Hosts were amazingly friendly and very helpful. Several items in apartment so didn't have to run out immediately. Accommodation was very clean and tidy, on the 3rd floor. Pictures do not do this place justice as it is very bright and friendly. Commuter links to downtown London were very easy and frequent- no waiting time. 5 minute walk to CHADWELL HEATH straight into Liverpool Street Station. Train is about 20 minute ride. This train is covered as part of Zone 1-5 Day Travel Card.

A good start for your London trip

We enjoyed our vacation for seven days in this clean, quiet and well equipped appartment. The hosts, espacially Derek`s brother, are very friendly and were able to fix a toilet problem within a day. The well equipped shopping bag and the introduction to the local surroundings were a pleasure for us.

Light apartment with good layout

This 2 bedroom apartment is good value for your money. We stayed here with our 3 kids while we were visiting London. The eldest one slept on the sofabed in the living room and the other two in the bunkbed in one of the bedrooms.
The apartment is light, well equiped and has a good layout. We enjoyed the big kitchen, eating with the family at the dining table in the livingroom, the spacious masterbedroom and the good, hot shower.
We were welcomed by the brother and sister in law of the owner and they were more than friendly. They even provided us with towels, because we didn't have any clean ones left after a couple of weeks in a tent in France.
Everything in the apartment is (failry) new and clean, except for the bathroom. That was painted and had new floorcovering and shower curtain, but the fittings were a bit scruffy. We were a bit bothered by the toiletseat that kept coming down whilst using the toilet. Also the toilet did not flush very well.
It took us an hour to get to centre of London by train and metro, but our kids enjoyed the trip very much. The trainstation is very close to the apartment; only a 7 minute walk.

The journey into central London on most days is about 40 mins.

Re writing prior review, somehow, one star was missing, it is a 5 star! Great location, quiet neighborhood, close to london, direct train a block away, 20mn to the heart of london. Appartment is clean, well equiped, spacious, the owners are great, easy to communicate, and very helpful with any questions we had vacationing in london.
