About this property

3 bedroom villa with 3 bathrooms (1 en suite). Open plan living, dining room and kitchen downstairs. This spacious villa is fully air-conditioned. Satellite TV in living area downstairs. Upstairs 2 bedrooms have sea views with private balconies. Main bedroom has an en suite bathroom. Private parking bay next to house. Garden with veranda and outdoor dining / living area and barbecue. Shared swimming pool. The villa is situated in an old olive grove and there are 9 other houses in the complex all built in a circle around the swimming pool. The villa has beautiful views of the sea. We provide all bed linen, towels, beach towels and crockery.

Gundogan: Gundogan is one of the quietest towns on the peninsula. For the club scene you have to travel to the main town of Bodrum which is 20 km away. There are plenty public transport available to travel on around the peninsula. Gundogan has a small supermarket, hospital , pharmacies and diy shops to meet your immediate needs. There are popular local fish, pide and kebab restaurants in close proximity to our home. Once a week you can buy fresh produce from the local market. On the bay you are able to join water sports such as jet skiing, swimming, fishing, snorkelling and daily boat trips. All these are within walking distance of the villa. The sea is 200m away and has some lovely little bars where you can enjoy a sundowner.

History: There is plenty to see in terms of history close by with a car. You can drive to the Roman city Ephesus and see one of the wonders of the world (approximately 2 hours by car).
Bodrum castle and amphitheatre is 20 minutes drive away. Many small ancient village close by are visited on their market days at which time you can buy produce grown or made by the locals.

The Perfect Relaxing Holiday! Excellent!

During 2012 I traveled to 7 different places around the world, and this holiday is definately one of my top holiday for relaxation. This property provided us with the perfect setting for a well deserved break away from the hussle and bussle of London life. The view is absolutely beautiful, and I found myself staring across the other side of the bay many times a day, and really enjoyed going for jogs along the beach front. The spacious, light and airry house is fully equiped with all the essentials you need and more. The good sized garden is perfect for sun bathing and has a gorgeous shade area with "comfy" white sofas to escape the midday sun. The pool is just steps away from the property and suitable for all ages. Supermarkets were easly accesible and Bodrum was a quick 30min drive away. Gundogan has a variety of good food restuarant along the beach front, and is only a 10 min walk away. The drive from the airport was pretty easy. I would suggest to take a day flight. We have been raving about our stay at Villa 5 ever since we've been back, and we can't wait to go again soon! This property, price, location, views, administration and atmosphere curtainly deserves 5 Stars! Big Thanks to the owners for sharing this with us!

Clean, Flowered, amazing view and comfortable

We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful villa in August and had wonderful time ! The house is quite big and furnished with all the needed appliances to spend easy going vacations. It is clean, the gardener is coming everyday to take care of the flowers. But what we loved the most is the view, night and day, the quietness of the complex and the big pool to swim in the morning ! Gundogan is a really nice "village", bay to stay in Bodrum peninsula. David (Paris)

Fantastic villa you won’t want to leave

And a vacation you won’t forget. This villa has all the comforts of a home with a fantastic view. Every morning I woke up looking at the bay with a smile on my face. The place is very clean, tastefully decorated and very quiet. The pool was great for fitness swim and was kept very clean. Our stay of 1 week seemed very short to us. We made good use of the fully functional kitchen. There is a weekly Farmers Market ( Wednesday’s – I think) for amazingly fresh fruit and vegetables. You can also find almost everything in the local supermarket. The locals are very friendly. There are so many beautiful little towns in a short driving distance to enjoy. Even though there is local transportation (dolmus’s) to everywhere and very reasonable, car rental would be more convenient. We enjoyed the lively atmosphere of Bodrum. We would definitely go back again.

Wunderschönes Haus in Gündogan

Wir (4 Pers) verbrachten 2 wunderschöne Wochen im Okt. 2019 in dem Haus von Caroline. Das Haus war tip-top vorbereitet und wirklich komplett ausgestattet. Die meiste Zeit wurde auf der Terrasse verbracht mit dem tollen Blick über die Bucht von Gündogan. Hüssein, der Gärtner, war sehr hilfreich, wenn doch einmal Fragen auftauchten. Einzig die steile Lage, hat man aber praktisch überall in Bodrum, erfordert ein Auto oder eine gute Kondition. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier Urlaub machen.
