The Waterloo Penthouse is a 2,000 square foot, 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom dwelling, located in one of London's most historic, in-demand areas, Waterloo.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils, pots, pans, instant coffee, tea, sugar, milk potties, oil, salt, and pepper.

The living room is tastefully decorated, with a dining table, six chairs, and two sofas. For entertainment, there's also a flat-screen television, a DVD player, an MP3-compatible stereo, and high-speed internet access without restrictions as to the amount of data transfer taken place. You also have your own personal terrace, overlooking beautiful Waterloo Road and beyond.

Both bedrooms boast Queen-sized beds, with quality mattresses, bedding, and linen, to ensure a good night's rest. Both also boast full en-suite bathrooms, inclusive of showers. In the other bathroom, the main one, there's even a generous-sized bathtub, in addition to a shower.

Local Attractions : South Bank, a significant arts and entertainment district, is only a short walk away. The Old Vic, a historic theatre that was established in 1818, is just 2 minutes by foot from the apartment. The Anchor & Hope, a wonderful, local gastropub, is 5 minutes away. The London Eye, which is Europe's tallest ferris wheel and the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom, is only a short walk away. The Design Museum, famed for being the alleged first museum of modern design, is also in the area. Shakespeare's Globe, a reconstruction of the burned-down Globe Theatre, is one of London's best playhouses. Trafalgar Square, a public space that is often used for political demonstrations and community gatherings, is near to the apartment. Big Ben, the great bell of the clock at the north end of the famed Palace of Westminster, is just across the river.

Nice apartment, good location to Waterloo station, bus services and underground. Clean,spacious and welcoming. Tea and coffee available. The steps to the balcony were high in excess of 20cm steps up to access so you need to be able bodied to access the balconies. The view is good which extends across the Thames and you can see big Ben and the eye which are within walking distance. The amenities are limited with a small number of restaurants nearby; overall would recommend.

We loved it was within walking distance to so many of the tourist sites, or you could catch the tube which was about a 7 min walk at Waterloo Station.

I was surprised to see such quality real estate

Since the moment I made my reservation ... I was under the impression that picture always there for marketing purposes only and I should see something less on physical usage. But I was wrong!

London boutique let is a great service company I will try my best to search for their standard in future lets if they don't have what I'm looking for ...

Final recommendation,

Book with them without any regret ... they are the best.

Large, Modern apartment Near Waterloo Station

We stayed here a week. Apartment was very large, with modern appliances, bathrooms, and furnishings. Has elevator (which not every building has). Was quiet. The 3 bathrooms (2 with showers) made it easy for all of us to get ready at the same time. Has awesome floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows on both sides. The side facing the living room has a distant but clear, direct view of Big Ben, London Eye, and the some of the newer London buildings. Both sides of the penthouse have huge balconies outside these panoramic windows, though it was too cold and windy when we stayed in June to use them. Waterloo station is a few blocks away which is a transportation hub for multiple Underground lines as well as trains. Local area seems like a "real" middle class London neighborhood--most people we saw looked like residents scurrying to work, etc., not lots of tourists, so seemed like genuine London. Restaurants and grocery markets nearby. Beds were comfortable. WiFi was fast. Boutique London Lets was very responsive to all our e-mail communications.
Our only minor quibbles were that, though we booked and paid for 4 people, we were charged an extra $186 us for the week for my son to use a fold out cot (he didn't want to sleep in the double bed with his sister)--that seemed an excessive charge for a cot, though in fairness this extra charge was listed on their website. Also the walk-in closet was filled mostly with storage for the apartment, leaving little room for our clothes. These were very minor issues that did not spoil our great stay.

Waterloo is a district of London, and also a part of the London Borough of Lambeth. It is connected to the north bank of the River Thames via the Waterloo Bridge, which is so-named as a commemoration to the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. In fact, Waterloo Road, upon which this apartment is located, also dates all the way back to this time, and it was built on land once belonging to the Archbishop of Canterbury. The historical significance of this location really cannot be overstated.

While staying at this apartment, you're within walking distance of some of London's most famed attractions. To name a few, there's the London Eye, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, the Globe (a replica of William Shakespeare's famous play house), and the Design Museum. We also strongly suggest that our guests take a leisurely stroll down the Southbank, with its vast array of festival halls, beautiful art galleries, and other historic buildings.

Standard household items include: coffee plunger, clothes iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and clothes drying horse. All linen is provided including all bedding and blankets, and towels for the bathrooms.
