Large 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom country property with swimming pool. Built in the traditional cortijo (farm house) style 11 years ago, this house has all the charm of an older house with the facilities of a newer property.
Built on 3 levels, the ground floor has a big kitchen with large fridge and separate large freezer, dishwasher, gas cooker with 5 rings, utility room with washing machine, larder, stable door to patio. Double height dining room and lounge, feature stone fireplace with wood burning stove, double doors to patio. 2nd sitting room with open fireplace, dvd/cd player, access to patio.
2 double bedrooms both with French windows and en suite bathrooms.
1st floor: master suite with en suite bathroom and private roof terrace.
Lower ground floor: 2 twin bedded rooms with en suite bathrooms and French doors to the lower terrace and pool area.
Set in 20 acres of natural land with almond, olive trees and shrubs. The house is not overlooked by any other property.
Peace, quiet and tranquility. Mountain views, blue skies, birds and other wildlife. Great expanses of open space, quiet roads, quaint villages and a whole different experience.
We had an incredible quiet and peaceful holiday and the villa and the pool were perfect for our large family !
Previous guests have captured the relaxing life style which can be enjoyed in this spectacular location. The house is furnished to an extremely high standard with all mod cons. The covered patio offers breathtaking views over the pool to the distant mountains. Food shopping can be done in the local town and a visit to the supermarket is well worth a visit just to see the fish counter !.After a day's sight seeing the pool is a delight followed by pre dinner drinks on the patio..
Clean and well-maintained building, nice and large, all the necessary facilities and with an attractive pool. If you want to get away from it all then this is the place. There were no near neighbours, and the few you could see seemed, literally, miles away. You occasionally saw a plane overhead, but much too high to hear it. However, the local shops are only about a 15-minute drive, where you can get pretty much everything you're likely to need. There are interesting places to see not too far away, or you can just stay put and sunbathe - if it's not too hot - or sit in the shade and read, and fall into the pool occasionally just to cool down.
This property is in a wonderful setting with acres of land and beautiful views, within minutes of our arrival we felt the stresses of life fade away.
The location is great as it feels remote but has easy access to the motorway and the local towns and also close to Sierra de María-Los Vélez National Park.
Very comfortable, clean and well maintained and equipped.

A beautiful building with all the facilities you would expect from a modern structure, but it looks and feels old and traditional. A great setting and views, very private. Brilliant views of the stars at night with no light pollution. Only a short and pretty drive from the motorway, and from there great access to other locations in this beautiful part of Spain.
