A modern penthouse apartment on the waterfront with stunning sea views. The open plan living area is bright and airy with it's high ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows facing south, west and north. A large patio door further extends the living room out onto a 15 m² balcony overlooking the fjord and the adjacent marina.
The apartment is located on the 4th floor in one of six terraced buildings completed in November 2010. The area is secluded from traffic and other residential areas.
Skippered sailing trips can be arranged directly from the property. Contact owner for details and rates.
Museums and historical sights: Vestfold county includes a variety of great historical sights and museums including:
- Edvard Munch's House in Åsgårdstrand.
- Horten Automobile museum.
- The Norwegian Navy Museum in Horten.
- Preus museum of photography in Horten.
- Midgard Historical Centre in Horten.
- Borrehaugene National Park (Scandinavia's largest Viking graveyard) in Horten.
- Slottsfjellet (Scandinavia's largest ruin park) in Tønsberg.
Sailing, boating and sea-kayaking: A boat rental company is operating from the marina offering motor boats from 34' to 39' and a yet ski. There is also a company renting sea kayaks just 7 kms down the coastal road.
If you prefer a day of sailing and is not comfortable manoeuvring big boats yourself, the owner can arrange skippered yacht sailing on a 37' sail boat directly from the marina. Inquiries must be made at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. Please contact owner for details and rates.
This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment as it was perfect for our stay last time and did not disappoint again! A very clean and well maintained apartment with everything you need for your holiday to be a relaxed and carefree experience.
The apartment was amazing -fully equipped, warm and comfortable with lovely views of the fjord. Steiner was very helpful with booking and when meeting us, even coming out on Boxing Day. There are plenty of local amenities near by and the train journey to Oslo was only 50 minutes away. We would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Kort avstand til Drammen som dekket vårt behov for shopping og restauranter. Godt utstyrt kjøkken til å lage egen middag, men savnet råkostjern og eggedeler :) Vi koste oss på terassen som hadde sol så og si hele dagen. Kommer gjerne tilbake ved en senere anledning!
This appartment is very clean, has a very good sorted kitchen and very approachable and caring owners, that hand the keys over in person, and are correct in every manner. It is a very bright appartment, and the highlight ist a view onto Oslofjord, directly from the sofa. The appartment is located on the fourth floor, and has a parking space in the garage. We traveled with our 5 year old kid. The two separate bedrooms are equipped with really good beds (duration test for 36 hours, because of a flue ;)). One bedroom has a double bed, with one piece mattress (so no gap in the middle), the other one has two single beds, those can be if needed very easily combined. All equipment provided in this flat is of good quality, so there is none of those moments: "ooooh...did I break this actually just by blinking at it?" The owners have hidden in their closets a few nice features, depending on your personel interest. So you may find table top games (actually the interesting sort), Dvds, an X Box, magazines, books, chess game, and even binoculars, that came in handy for watching birds. A playground and the little beach are located about 30 m from the door. For smaller kids, it is great. The furniture is also of good quality, and the owners decorated in a thoughtful maritime style. There are a lot of comfy corners, to just hang out. Cushions, plaids, and even a swinger chair for attaching outside at the balcony. We have been a bit unlucky with getting sick, but we managed a nice trip to the norske folkemuseum in Oslo. There is a coach you can drive with, and a lot to discover. Ah did I mention the little fish formed silicon form for ice cubes? Candels etc. The supermarked called coop, is not far away (only few minutes by car) and sufficiently equipped.
For couples, litlle groups of friends etc this appartment is also recommendable.
We will come certainly again.
On our recent vacation, we had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The apartment was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Its location was good for us as we were visiting family in various locations around Drammen, Tønsberg, Tjøme and even Oslo.
The only small improvement that could be made is with the laundering facilities as the washer did not work and there was an absence of an iron and ironing board.
In all, this was a very nice apartment and we would like to use it again when we return to the area on our next visit.
Modern penthouse apartment on the fourth floor of a new building outside Sande. The house is one in a group of identical buildings right by the water. Wooden platform along the seafront, marina, small sandy beach and playground nearby. The apartment is in one of the houses in the second row. It's in excellent condition, very clean and visibly new.
Spacious sitting/dining room with integrated kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and storage room. Sitting room and bedrooms have high ceilings, sitting room has large glass front on two sides and balcony. Nice touch: children's toys, books and DVDs are provided, a bag of chocolates was in the fridge. The apartment offers all the commodities required including basics like vacuum cleaner, kitchen appliances (except microwave oven, but who needs that :-) ) and entertainment like TV, DVD player, high-speed internet access and GameCube. No washing machine available at the time of our stay (yet) but owner offered to find a solution if required. Very convenient: car can be left in the basement car park. Building has an elevator. Beautiful sea view from the sitting room; table and chairs, deck chair, hammock and hanging chair available for the balcony.
Very nice contact with the owner; e-mail was answered quickly and in a very friendly way. Many helpful hints regarding sights to see - far more than we could do during our stay. Booking process was very speedy and professional, deposit was transferred back quickly.
We didn't stay long so we weren't able to really explore the area. Recommended: Drammensbadet (indoor and outdoor pools, great for kids), Marinemuseet (navy museum) in Horten (fine on a rainy day). Oslo is 45 minutes away. Recommended by owner but not done due to lack of time: "Spiralen" tunnel, viking cemetery in Borrehaugene national park and Tønsberg, the oldest city in Norway.
This modern apartment is located in a new sea front development overlooking Sande Bay, a branch of the Oslofjord. Directly from the adjacent marina you have access to the fjord whether you would like to go fishing, sailing, swimming or just for a nice walk along the coastal path. Sande is a small community located North in the beautiful county of Vestfold. With it's central location, the coastal cities in Vestfold and the larger cities Drammen and Oslo are well in reach for a day trip or just a few hours of shopping or sightseeing.
Vestfold is well known for it's beautiful 980 km long coast line with more than 1000 islands making it an ideal destination for all kinds of water activities. The county is also known for it's viking heritage with the highest concentration of monumental burials in Viking Scandinavia. Vestfold's viking sites have recently been included on UNESCO's Tentative List intended for nomination as a World Heritage Site.

Golf: Within 20 kms driving distance, you can choose between 3 golf courses: Skoger (18-hole, Jeremy Turner PAR 71), Solum (18-hole) and Sande (9-hole). They all accept guest players.
